Hey all!

We are super excited that it is tournament week for the 2021 Resistance Discs Fall Classic. First a big thank you to Camp Serene for being our host course for the tournament! James and his crew do a wonderful job keeping the course challenging and fun all year round.

We will be sending out a follow up email Wednesday or Thursday with the layout, hole distances, rules and more information on the weekend. Your hole assignments will be posted Thursday as well.

Hey all!

For now, here is what you need to know!

Schedule
Saturday
8:15-9:00am check in. All players must check in. Amateur players can pick up their players pack at this time.
9:28am- Round 1 2 Minute Warning
9:30am- Round 1 Starts

All players will get a one hour lunch break from the time the last card is in.

PLEASE BRING YOUR LUNCH. THERE IS NO CLOSE FOOD OPTIONS! Nor is there cell service for most carriers at Camp Serene.

Round 2 to follow

Saturdays results and Sundays starting holes will be listed no later than 8:00pm Saturday evening on the PDGA event page. There is no cell service at Serene so it’s likely we have to hand input all results.

Sunday
9:15am- Tournament staff will be set up for players to look at standings and hole assignments if they didn’t check online.

9:58am 2-minute warning Round 3

10:00am Round 3 Starts

Awards/Trophies will be for first place finishers in each division and will be handed out as quickly as possible following round 3.

All Pro Payout will be done via PayPal and all Amateur Scrip will be awards through email in the form of a voucher to Resistance Discs.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out to Jeff or I.

If you are not going to make it, just remember we follow all PDGA guidelines when it comes to refunds. It is in your best interest to give us as much of a heads up as possible.

Once tee times are posted Thursday we will not be attempting to fill spots, so players will not be getting a full refund.

All FPO/FA1 Players, If you are planning on playing please sign up. After this Wednesday I am going to cut it down to 4 spots for each division if we don't get any more sign ups. We have people on the wait list that need to be able to make travel plans! We would love to have 8 ladies in each of the divisions though!

Thanks for signing up for the 2021 Resistance Discs Fall Classic at Camp Serene. We recently received a phone call about a complaint made to the PDGA that when you signed up, it forced you to choose a TD tip. Obviously this was not done on purpose and I just wanted to reach out and let you know, that if anyone wants a refund on the $2, $5 or $10 you may have left as a tip, I will be glad to refund it.

I have fixed this on the sign ups page, and it was completely unknown to our TD crew that it was forcing everyone to leave a tip. If you have ever played our events, you know we are all about communication, if there is ever something that does not seem right, please reach out to us first. We do out best to take care of things right away when someone messages us about any questions with the upcoming tournaments.
