What time is registration and what time does the first round start?

Typically for his tournaments its 8 am is check in. 9 am tee off

This is correct. Sign up from 8-8:40ish, players meeting from 8:45-9, tee off at 9

I see two different events for this for the singles tournament. Why is that and is there one that’s more correct than the other?
