Hello, Ladies & Juniors!
I am SO excited for this event this year as it is part of the PDGA Women’s Global Event (WGE), the Northern California Poppy Series, AND a Juniors event! We have a lot to cover, so please take a few minutes to read through everything below.
⸻
???? Women’s Global Event (WGE)
Started in 2012, this biennial event continues to break records as the largest PDGA event for a single demographic within the sport of disc golf.
One of the coolest things about WGE is the idea that no woman is playing alone — even if she is the only woman at her local event, women all over the world are playing alongside her that same day.
Women from around the globe will play two rounds of disc golf at their local participating WGE events. The first two rounds from each tournament are submitted and rated by the PDGA. These ratings are averaged to determine each player’s “Global Score.”
Throughout the weekend, the worldwide leaderboard will update as scores come in from around the globe, ultimately crowning the 2026 PDGA Women’s Global Event Champions in every division!
