Welcome to the 1st MVP Circuit Challenge at Prompton Lake! This will be a one round shotgun event. Singles play with skill-based divisions. Everyone will receive 3 discs upon check in. You can only throw these 3 discs during play. If you lose a disc you cannot replace it. I do not have enough Watermelon fireballs for every player registered so you CANNOT use this disc during tournament play. We will have on-course proximity games with discs as prizes (CTP, Long drive, Straightest Drive).
Prompton is set on a hill with plenty of elevation gain and sun exposure. The forecast is a hot sunny day for Sunday. Sun protection, hydration and bug repellent are a must. We have had a very wet spring summer so far which has made all the long grass very ROUGH. Be sure to spot your card mates throws and you can lose discs very easily this time of year.
There will be optional random draw doubles in the afternoon as a separate casual/fun round. Doubles will be open bag so bring your discs with you! There will be prizes for this as well.
The closest lunch options are more than 15 minutes from the course so if you want to play doubles in the afternoon I highly recommend packing a lunch. We will have coolers with water and Gatorade near tournament HQ and on the course.
Tournament HQ will be at the pavilion near hole 12. Parking is available near the pavilion and over by hole 1 and practice basket. *If you park near practice basket, hole 1 tee shots have a tendency to hit some cars so be mindful of that. Bathrooms are available near the pavilion.
RanDisc Golf will be vending our event so bring those wallets if you want to pick up more new plastic. He has a wide variety of manufacturers and current releases.
