Unfortunately I was not able to make a course map for this event with each OB line, however each hole will have a pretty clear rock perimeter so you will know if you are OB or not. For the longer par 4 holes, any large rocks within each holes rock perimeter is safe. We will have a players meeting before the event to clarify all of the holes and rules just to be safe.

Hello Steven, that rule would apply to the entire rock boundary. Most holes are completely surrounded by large rocks, so as long as you are touching the big rocks or land inside the rock border, you are safe. Anything outside of the rock border is OB and you will play your disc where your disc was last inbounds (except for hole 8 and 9, those are hazards where you will play your disc where it lies + 1 stroke).

A few clarifications. Just want to make sure I'm practicing correctly. In General, when it says "beyond rocks" does that imply that being IN the rock wash boundaries (like on 4 or 11) is in, but if you cross completely over, that would be out? Hole 5, it makes sense that the rocks on the right separating 5's fairway from 4 and 6 would be OB if you crossed them. What about the two washes that criss cross 5's fairway up near the green? Are those playing safe, river, hazard, ob, etc? Hole 13, the notes say concrete waterway is OB. First question is the same as 2 above. Is in the waterway OB, or over the waterway completely. Second question is that makes sense for the green, but what about the portion of the waterway that crosses the fairway? If you go in that do you play it as OB, but as long as you're short of it or over it you're fine?

Hello Garrett, yes anything past the rock perimeter on any hole will be considered OB. If you are touching any part of the big rocks for that holes perimeter, you are safe. This includes the rock washes. The concrete waterway (canal) on hole 13 is completely OB, so if your disc lands in there and is surrounded by concrete, you are out. If any of your disc touches the dirt on either side, or the large rocks, you are safe. I personally recommend laying up before the concrete waterway for your first shot to avoid OB before attempting to throw over it towards the basket.

We'll definitely need some clarification on some things. Is the pole between 1 and 2 a mando for both, or just for 2? Which washes / rock basins are casual vs ob rivers? When a rock wash marks ob, do you have to be completely over the wash to be OB (in the wash is still in)? Etc.

Great questions! I will create a document for rules on each hole and post it in the pictures section as soon as possible. I plan on using the regular OB and Mando rules but there will be very slight changes. One of them is indeed making the Mando left pole for hole 2, a Mando right for hole 1 to prevent players from throwing over the tee box on hole 2.
