I’m driving over from Idaho and plan to checkout the course Friday as well. Do we know if the layout is confirmed to be what is shown in the uploaded picture? I’m guessing it won’t be set up for a Friday practice round, but figured I could walk the course and play the standard holes a couple times. Cheers.

Here is what I know just because I have ran tournaments in the past. If you want a Player Pack or Free Lunch then you typically pay $40-60 for a entry. This event is $15 because it is what it is. A chance for those who want a couple rated rounds cheap. I was told there will be trophies for the winners of Advance and Ad-40 but as far as payouts and any other stuff. No. The tournament is being ran more of a way to introduce people to the live scoring and getting people some rated rounds cheap. However if I had to guess I am sure someone will organize a Acepot day of and I am willing to donate a prize for a CTP on a hole.

If your curious about the finances and what money is going where I have no problem explaining what costs are involved with sanctioning an event. Overall the amount of profit made after fees and trophies is going to be around 150$ which will be added into the pro payout. I’ve posted some info on the windy cities Facebook page. I will be providing CTPs out of my personal collection which will only be available to the amateur field. If I was running this event for profit I would be charging 80$ for amateurs and then providing players packs and payout.

No doubt man, it was just pretty vague. I appreciate the explanations. For the record after the fee I paid $54 not $15. So if there was a reason I paid $54 versus the $15 I’d like to know what I did.

I’m pretty certain that’s because you signed up for pro and not amateur. I’m guessing that was unintentional or due to the advanced field being full. I’ll move you divisions and be able to refund 25$.
