PBO 2-finalized layout and rules sheet. 10-2-2020 10:38pm

Please have 1 player score with digital scoring, and another player score with paper scorecard. Tournament central will be set up near tee pad 17 for PBO layout. Checkin optional. PDGA.com/score

1- hole 1 right teepad to long right basket. Ob in water and the first white line away from the road.

2- hole 2 teepad to basket 2, mando left, road and beyond ob

3- hole 3 teepad to basket 3, double mando, road and beyond ob. Island in 4 fairway plays ob.

*4- teepad 4 to basket 4 short. Short island and middle island are in bounds. Drop zone will be marked between the two trees of 4’s fairway. Fly over does not count. Disc must be in bounds or you proceed to the drop zone. Option to play from your last lie in bounds.

5- Long 5 basket to the right round 1. Based on speed of play this may move to the long left position for round 2. OB in island of 4 fairway. Walking path not ob.

6- long 6 teepad to 14 right basket. Mando right of marked tree since people were throwing into 3’s fairway.

7- teepad 9 long to basket 9. Path to right and beyond ob. Railroad ties long ob. Path ob. Concrete island behind regular 8 pin is not OB

8- teepad 10 to basket 13 right (willow tree) Hour Glass ob, string line OB near creek. Path ob. Optional drop zone when ob.

9- teepad 11 short to basket 11 (double mando). Railroad ties ob.

10- teepad 12 to basket 13 left (mando left of 1st tree, then double mando (walking path is safe). Water ob.

11- teepad 14 to short temp island,
(Play as hazard if not in island)

12- teepad 15 left to basket 16 left, mando right of marked tree by teepad (creek and beyond ob, walkway and beyond left ob) if you miss mando re-tee

13- teepad 17 to basket 17 (parking lot ob). Curb line ob asphalt ob if no curb is present. Railroad ties ob.

14- teepad 18 long to basket 18 long (railroad ties and beyond to the right is ob). String line in ditch marking ob. Based on speed of play this hole may change for the second round to one of the easier combinations. Mando through first two trees off tee.

15- 1st bay hole- temp teepad near old mando tree playing to temp basket (across from teepad 1) water OB, first white line away from road and beyond left is OB

16- 2nd bay hole- temp teepad plays across the water to a temp basket, water OB, white line and beyond left is OB. If ob proceed to drop zone or option to play from previous lie.
Drop Zone for any player that doesnt want to play the tee shot, but must add strokes.

17- 3rd bay hole- temp tee pad to temp basket. Water ob. Ob in parking lot using large rocks as ob line.

18- temp teepad playing back towards the basket position 18. Water ob. less

Hey Ed, coming down from Pullman and I've never played the course before, so I'm not even familiar with the standard layout. I saw the tournament holes/layout were posted to FB, but does the map picture you posted here on DGS correspond to the FB holes/layout or does it need to be updated? Or, is there a finalized map somewhere that I'm missing? Thanks for everything, looking forward to a banger of a tourney.

Hey man, I do know that map is not current anymore. There have been a few changes via holes 1, 4, and 15-18 that differ from the map.

You can make it through the whole course without a spotter. A guide will help but isn’t a necessity.

I'm gonna show up Friday to practice because I've never played the course, although I was told it was gonna be tough and to bring some extra discs. Any advice? Do I need a guide? Spotter? Any advice is great. Thanks!

I’m driving over from Idaho and plan to checkout the course Friday as well. Do we know if the layout is confirmed to be what is shown in the uploaded picture? I’m guessing it won’t be set up for a Friday practice round, but figured I could walk the course and play the standard holes a couple times. Cheers.

I’ve finalized the layout but haven’t posted it. I’ll have the finalized layout posted on Monday with a new map. The course will be set up Friday. We typically run a Friday night random dubs around 5pm. We will more than likely be playing this layout for Friday dubs. Holes 2-15 are not changing.

No Ace pot, no CTP, No player pack, no lunch...? Is there going to be a payout for winners? Just inquiring for more information because there isn’t much available anywhere you look..

Here is what I know just because I have ran tournaments in the past. If you want a Player Pack or Free Lunch then you typically pay $40-60 for a entry. This event is $15 because it is what it is. A chance for those who want a couple rated rounds cheap. I was told there will be trophies for the win ... more

If your curious about the finances and what money is going where I have no problem explaining what costs are involved with sanctioning an event. Overall the amount of profit made after fees and trophies is going to be around 150$ which will be added into the pro payout. I’ve posted some info o ... more

No doubt man, it was just pretty vague. I appreciate the explanations. For the record after the fee I paid $54 not $15. So if there was a reason I paid $54 versus the $15 I’d like to know what I did.

I’m pretty certain that’s because you signed up for pro and not amateur. I’m guessing that was unintentional or due to the advanced field being full. I’ll move you divisions and be able to refund 25$.

Ricky part of why you paid more is it's a PDGA sanctioned event which comes with a $10 fee if you are not a PDGA member. There is also like a $4 fee for using Disc Golf Scene for Registration, plus the fact you are in deed signed up as a Pro which had a $40 entry not a $15 Am entry so that's why it was $54 instead of 15 plus fees and $10. I payed $19 as a AM with a PDGA membership.

I second Ben' comment I'm a total noobie and was wondering if there might be an amateur recreational division group that I might be able to sign up for too. Otherwise, I don't see how I could really play.

This layout/tournament was designed for Advance level and pro players to test the abilities against the hardest layout possible at CP. That's why there is no Intermediate or Rec Division. Also because of Covid he is limited to turn number of people who can play.

We will be running several more of these small type events and my goal is too simultaneously run another course for the Internet/rec division. This would of course require more effort and planning than I was prepared for. Thank you for the interest Michael.

Also the layout he is running is the hardest layout at CP and will challenge the best of the best which is why he didmt do a Intermediate or Rec Divison.

It’s going to be 2 rounds on Saturday starting at 9 am. Lunch will be roughly an hour after after the last card finishes with the second round starting roughly around 1pm. There will be no player meeting. Hole assignments will be posted online with digital scoring.
