THE PARK HAS INFORMED US THAT CONSTRUCTION HAS BEEN POSTPONED AND WE ARE BACK ON FOR 2026! For those who don't know, we were told we could not run this event this year. Due to a change in the construction schedule, we were notified 5 weeks before the event date that we could still hold this event if we would like. Due to the short time frame to prepare for the event, WE WILL ONLY HAVE CUSTOM STAMPED DISCS FOR THE FIRST 50 AM ENTRANTS!! Also, camping will be available to disc golfers only until May 15th. After that, camping will be opened to the general public. It is in your best interest to get signed up early and reserve camping early.

Welcome back to the Mad Pelican Open at Lake Walcott State Park! Its a beautiful time of year to be at Lake Walcott! We will be playing 2 rounds of 22 holes with tee times each day. The course will have some modifications compared to last year. Due to the small timeframe, we will be playing the same or very similar course as 2025.

PDGA B-Tier Event with a mininum 100% payouts

All amateur players will receive a CUSTOM Mad Pelican Open PLAYER'S PACK (Custom Innova Disc for first 50 entrants only, Custom Double Insulated Water Bottle, and a custom waffle towel) valued at $60.

There is an optional $5 ace pot. All aces will split the ace pot evenly. If there are no aces, the pot will carry over to the 2027 Mad Pelican Open. There was not an ace pot hit last year so $415 carries over to this year.
There is an optional $5 cash CTP. This will be split up over 5 holes so that you have more opportunities to win cash. Last year each of the 5 winners took home $80 cash.

CAMPING
We have all camping spots reserved for disc golfers only from May 28th - May 31st. YOU NEED TO CALL THE PARK OFFICE AT 208-436-1258 TO RESERVE A CAMPING OR RV SPOT. The online reservation tool will not allow reservations. The group camping area will be closed for the event.

Refund policy

Over The Top Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds and cancellations. Full refund will be given to all players who withdraw by May 27th. All refunds after that point will be a half refund or a player's pack in lieu of a refund.
