Local flooding during the week and overnight rains threatened to wipe out this event entirely but the upper half of the course was playable and the event was played in unseasonably chilly windy weather using 11 of the 18 holes. We played the 11 holes twice for each round of 22 holes.
Since only 5 players participated, the format was adjusted during the first round. We had one team of 3 players and a team of 2 players. We rotated players from team to team so each hole was played by a different team of players. We recorded individual player scores. The payout was 1 raffle ticket for participation and 1 ticket for each player you beat. We than had a drawing for discs and other disc golf related items. After the drawing, each player was given 1 throw per remaining raffle ticket in a CTP event. The player whose disc landed closest to the pin received a disc and other players were awarded the remaining raffle prizes based on their finishing order.
The second round was a singles round. We all played together but competed in 2 different divisions. The resultes of the second round are noted in this results summary.
Special thanks to Pete Macke for organizing this event. We hope to do it again next year at a time when more players can participate.
