Remember...Ma60 and Ma4 will play at Aumiller Park in Bucyrus. Two rounds of 18 holes. We have shelters 9 and 10. Toby, Wayne and Ryan will be there to check you in and get you your shirts. They are instructed to give you the shirt that you signed up for and not the one you may ask for. I will be there to do the players meeting. There is no reason to go to Galion prior to your tee off time. Just check in at Bucyrus. All your info will be there.

All MPO, MA40 and MA50 will play at Galion. Two rounds of 24. Pro's playing both rounds from the long tees. If you guys want to change round two to the short tees, let me know prior to the players meeting. I'm not adverse to that. MA40 and MA50 play both rounds from the shorts.

Unless your card is unusually slow, you will get at least an hour for lunch as no food will be available for purchase at either course. Please do not leave the course without knowing what time second round tee will be. We WILL tee without you if you are not back in time.

Bucyrus is minimal and pretty self explanatory...In or over the River, on or over the road. On or over sidewalk, with the exception of hole #16 where its on sidewalk only. On or in shelters.

Galion is a little more extensive... the high grass area to the right of #2, the right of #3, directly behind the basket of #7, the right of #8 and #9 is OB. It will all be painted on Friday. The high grass area to the right of 20 and 21 is also OB. There is a mando on 21, where you must stay left of the first tree. Everything else is as expected. Road (actually using the cable where applicable. Surrounded by water is OB. Ditch Area behind basket #19 and to the right of hole #23 is OB. Dropoff left and behind of basket #10 is OB. In or over water on Hole #14 is OB.

There are still a few folks on here in the Ma40 and Ma50 that have ratings below 850. If those of you that do want to play in the Ma4 at Bucyrus, I'll give you until Tuesday to make the switch. At Bucyrus, you will play two rounds of 18, rather than two rounds of 24. No shame, it's not novice, it's Ma4, and an opportunity to compete against others in your own skill level (and still over 40)

I never would have guessed that even in the state of pandemic bloating of fields, that we would have had some 150 players interested in the Masters. It wasn't that long ago that we struggled to get around 50 in year one. Marnie and I (and a number of players) have said it's the most fun event of the year. So I was really struggling to come up with a way to get everyone possible in. We still likely won't get everyone in, but we will be a lot closer as we will be moving the Ma60, women and the older gents over 40 novice division to Bucyrus. It's only 11 miles away, it's more suited to those divisions as far as distance and 18 hole layout. If you are currently in one of those divisions and prefer to play in Galion, then you'll need to join whatever division you are eligible for that is playing there. If you are ride sharing, it won't be a problem, Galion will start before Bucyrus and end after. Invitations to those on the waitlist will be sent out tonight. If you plan to change divisions, do so quickly as we will likely still reach our limit at Galion.

I would invite (and have many times) everyone to join the Team Mojo Disc Golf page on Facebook. It has our schedule pinned at the top of the page. Also note that we do our registration three months ahead of each tournament and they open on a Sunday at 7:00. Also was on the Facebook page. We do random raffles and other fun stuff. Unless you are one of those guys who is always online, it’s the only real way to keep abreast of Mojo things. Sorry for those who may not get in. Believe me, I NEVER want to keep anyone out.

Ok.... Had a few guys whose registration did not take, so I had to manually enter them. By the time I did so, I was over the limit. I bumped it up to course max, just in case anyone else had problems. When I get up in the morning, if its at 96 I'll leave it, but otherwise I will cut it off at 92 or 88 depending on where it stands. I wanted to cut the 60+ and novice off at 18 holes for the second round and having a few holes as buffer was the plan. If no buffer, we will have to execute a plan B and novice may find themselves playing 24 both rounds. Maybe 60+ as well.
