Ohio Amateur Championship / Player Meeting
- Official scoring is done electronically at pdga.com/score
- Event password / access code is ohioams
- It is mandatory that each card has every player keep score per pdga rules / TD’s prefer all players keep score electronically on the digital pdga scorecard for checks and balances to ensure electronic score card accuracy and at the end of the round please make sure all players fully upload scores and confirm that fact as a group / if a player cannot get a cell connection a paper card can be kept as a last resort (however prefer all players keep score electronically via PDGA at pdga.com/score)
- Speed of play is essential so the PDGA 3 minute lost disc rule must strictly be enforced by your card / Also on holes without a spotter please spot for each other (2 players spot and 2 players throw then they switch & with this practice there should be no lost disc or searching for lost disc)/ non-playing spotters are to assist but ultimately it is the card’s decision on OB’s and the spot of OB’s etc../ a player should tee off on the 9 Par 4’s (holes 6, B, E, F, 7B, 14, 15, 16, & 17) once the group ahead of them is out of throwing range (do not wait for group to finish the hole if the group in front of you is out of throwing range) /
- A few tee pads will be flagged & painted left or right expanding the width of the pads to provide players with the most desirable footing option / if a tee is painted and flagged you can either throw off the pad or within the extended width flagged / painted area left or right of the pad
- Be at hole 1 no later than 15 minutes and no earlier than 30 minutes of your designated tee time for Rd. 1 on Saturday to ensure you have enough time to grab your large player pack and place the player pack back in your car / & 10 minutes before your tee off time for Rd. 2 on Sunday
- NO 2 Meter Rule
- OB’s are listed on electronic score card for each hole, & on the pdf attachment emailed to players previously & again attached to this email / it is also in the DOCUMENT section on the ABOUT page of disc golf scene
- 50/50 Cash CTP hole is hole 6B // 1 winner for Saturday & 1 winner for Sunday
- If no Ace is hit during the event the Ace Pool CTP will be hole 11 and that CTP will only be out on Sunday to determine the ace pool winner if no Ace is hit during the event
Player pack includes 7 items (custom collared shirt, 3 premium Innova disc, a towel, a snack & an Innova weighted mini / player pack will be handed out at check in before Rd. 1 so please check in no later than 15 minutes or no earlier than 30 minutes before your tee time (we will not be holding player packs so they must be picked up before your Saturday tee time.
