Players,
Oasis Upshot is 2 rounds of 18 holes PDGA C-Tier event at The Oasis DGC in Warwick, NY Saturday 7/12/2025.
Players should sign in between 7:30am and 8:30am. Sign in is at event building near where you will park. Some hole assignments may need to be adjusted so look again in the morning at
https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/91508
When you sign in, we will have tables set up with amateur player’s pack items. If you signed up for a players pack you will get one $15 item. We will have lots of discs and other items to select from.
Each card must have everybody keeping score. One person must keep score via the PDGA website and the others any other way you want. We have paper scorecards.
We have set up layouts on the PDGA site. PDGA.comscores. Code will be provided at players meeting.
Hand sanitizer is available for your use before you touch any merchandise in the store.
Keep an eye on where you land. You only get 3 minutes to search for your disc before it is officially lost.
Two-meter rule is not in effect
Bring plenty of water; and this may be a good time for this year to wear sunscreen & bug spray.
Projected payouts can be found at
https://www.pdga.com/apps/tournament/manager/payouts_projected?TournID=91508
The exact numbers will change but this will give you an idea of what to expect; if people drop from your division, then the payout will be less. Top ~40% of each amateur division will receive a store voucher; professional divisions will be paid via CASH.
The B.S. Bochantin Upshot store will be open all day. We accept Venmo or Cash.
For those swapping their unwanted plastic, give us your discs before round 1 starts. We will value them as you play, and you will receive a scrip card for the value to use when you finish the round. We are not accepting any swaps after you start round 1. All HoD discs will be valued at $1.
For any first-place tie breaker playoffs will be Hole 3, Hole 18 to blue basket, Hole 1, Hole 2, repeat.
For Ace Pot, if someone hits an ace then they get the $45 sent to them via paypal. If multiple people hit an ace, then they split the pot.
The standard course rules (OB/mando/etc) are all in play; see the scoring PDGA site for all those notes.
With 18 players we will all be playing the same layout for both rounds. All tees being used have large signs near them; all baskets being used have a bag typed to them. All baskets not in use are eligible for relief.
