Hi everyone, thanks for coming out for the Oakwood Fall Championship. Below is everything that you should need to know for the event.
There will be a players meeting at 8:40 to answer questions and review any necessary rules. We will start round 1 at 9:00.

Gray Duck Disc Golf across the street will serve as tournament central. I will be there at 8:00 until the players meeting as well as between rounds and after the second round. You do not need to check in.

Every player will be required to keep score for everyone on their card. Players must either use the PDGA digital scoring at pdga.com/score (or on the PDGA app) or use a paper scorecard. All digital scorecards need to be submitted and all paper scorecards will need to be turned in within 30 minutes from when you finish your round or you can text me a picture of the scorecard (507-217-6652). Please review all scorecards within your group before submitting or turning in your scorecard. If you are keeping a paper scorecard you must mark it as yours by putting a mark by your name on the card or adding your name on the back of the card. Any invalid scores or late scorecards will be given a 2 stroke penalty for the scorekeeper. It is much preferred that players use the digital scoring rather than a paper scorecard (but paper cards will be available) as it will make the second round start faster and the end of day payouts will be ready much faster. 
The digital access code is oakwood.

Hole assignments for round 1 will be posted on the event page tomorrow morning (https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/94087).

The second round will start one hour from when the last card to finish is complete with their first round. The second round start time and your starting holes will be posted on the PDGA results page https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/94087 shortly after everyone has finished their first round. If you are ready to tee off one hour from when you finished, you won't be late. There will not be players meeting before the second round. Please check scores after you are finished with your second round. Any ties for first place in a division will need to have a playoff. Players tied for first will start a sudden-death playoff on hole 1 and will alternate who starts on each hole until there is a winner.
Payouts for the Open divisions will be available in cash at the end of the day or via PayPal or Venmo. If you choose PayPal or Venmo, please make sure to provide any necessary information of where you would like the payout sent. If you want to get cash after the event you may cut to the front of the checkout line as I will have envelopes ready to go.

Payouts for AMs will be available in the form of merchandise credit through Gray Duck Disc Golf. This can be redeemed at tournament central after the second round or at Gray Duck Disc Golf in Cottage Grove at a later date.  Once everyone is finished with the second round, payouts will be posted on the disc golf scene event page https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournaments/Oakwood_Fall_Championship_2025 and should show up on the PDGA app if you used that for scoring. All merchandise credit earned will expire one year after it is earned.
Ace Pool:
There is an Optional $2 Ace Pool. If no one that pays into the ace pool for the event gets an ace, then the ace pool will carry over to the next event. If you are not sure if you signed up for the ace pool you should be able to check the email you received when you registered. If there are no aces in the final event of the season the ace pool will be added into the Gray Duck Tour Series payouts. There will be one singular ace pool even if players are not playing the same layout. There is $180 carrying over from the previous event.

Gray Duck Tour Series
We are doing a season points series again this year for the Mixed Amateur divisions. Here is the structure:

$1 of every MA1, MA2, MA3, and MA4 entry goes to season payouts for the division that the player played in.

Event Points Calculation:
1st = 100 + (0.1 x players in division)
Everyone Else = 100 - ((place-1) * 30) / players in division

Total Season Points will be equal to the Top 6 events for each player in a division.

After the final event of the year the Prize pool value for each division will be equal to the total number of players that played in that division for each event combined.
The top 5% of each division's season points leaders (up to 10 players total) will be paid out in merchandise credit after the last event of the season.
