Hello everyone and welcome to the Oak Town Throwdown players meeting!
Tee times have been posted to the PDGA website so please go there to verify what your start time will be for round 1.
Social distancing must be done at all times, if it can not be then you will be wearing a mask. Caddies and spectators are allowed but must practice social distancing when necessary or wear a mask.
Player check in will be done at tournament central where you will sign a covid waiver. From that point on you will proceed to hole 1 and be ready to tee off at the 2 minute mark.
PDGA digital scoring will be used, with 1 person being assigned to keep score and another person using another scoring method to keep score for a backup.
Holes will be played as per the tee signs, the only change will be the temporary tee signs for the extra holes in play after hole 13.
OB will be observed with orange paint and or flags. If the disc is touching the OB line or paint, it is considered safe. Benefit of the doubt will always go to the player. Please follow all pdga rules and guidelines, and if you have any questions please take your provisional and refer to myself (Lucas) at tournament central.
Please follow the PDGA rules of lost discs. If you have lost a disc someone on the card needs to start a 3 minute timer to avoid any unnecessary back ups. If the disc is not found within the 3 minutes that player must re-throw from the previous lie for a penalty stroke.
Please note that no alcohol or drug use is permitted at the park.
Round 2 will have CTP’S in play. Please write your name on the flag, if no name is written on the flag it will go to the next person who has a name written down.
Remember to always have fun and I look forward to seeing you all at the tournament. Take it easy.
I’d like to give a quick shoutout to all of our tee sponsors.
Ivan Gonzalez, with Limitless yacht care who sponsored 4 holes and donated $100 to the hole 7 ctp. Please contact him for all your detailing needs!
