COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus)

The OMDG Staff is monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) and evaluating its potential impact on the Oak Meadow Amateur Championship.

For the time being, and until further notice, the Oak Meadow Amateur Championship will continue as planned. At this time, we do not anticipate any postponement or cancellation.

Players and other persons attending the Oak Meadow Amateur Championship are advised to seek advice from their personal medical providers and make their decision to attend based on their personal situation.

We are pleased to announce that we will be once again be using the PDGA Live Scoring for the upcoming Oak Meadow Amateur Championship. Digital scoring will be the primary score keeping method. We will continue to use paper cards as a back-up.

Players will record hole scores in real-time at pdga.com/score and fans and spectators can follow along at pdga.com/live. Only one smartphone will be needed per card.

· Hole scores will instantly be updated on the PDGA Live scoring page for the event as the round progresses.
· The PDGA Digital Scorecard provides a method for players to confirm and digitally submit the card when the round is completed.
· Round scores are automatically recorded once confirmed (no more 2 stroke penalty for adding incorrectly).
· The event results page is automatically updated with round scores as players submit their scores.

PDGA Official Digital Scoring Instructions

1. Open your browser and go to pdga.com/score
2. Enter the access code: OMAC20
3. Search for and select yourself to login.
4. Select the round.
5. Verify the names on the card. Add/delete other players as necessary.
6. Start keeping score.
7. At the end of the round each player must review, confirm, and digitally sign-off on their scores by individually entering their name or PDGA number.

NOTE: Current hole assignments are draft placeholders. These will change as we get adds and drops. Hole assignments will be finalized after the players meeting.
