It's been a great honor running a Pro-only A-Tier the last three years, and we are so thrilled about the participation and wonderful feedback we've gotten. However, as the field has gotten smaller and smaller and as the priorities of Furnace Mountain Camp have increasingly moved away from organized disc golf events, it is no longer sustainable for us to have two LoCo Open weekends.
Accordingly, we will not hold the LoCo Open Pro A-Tier this year. Instead, we will roll the Professional divisions into a Pro-Am B-Tier the following weekend, September 27-28. This event will feature at least $2,000 added cash for the Professional divisions and will take place over two rounds at Clark's Run and the new Lefty's Farm course a few miles away at Flying Ace Farm Brewery. LoCo Disc Golf Club is committed to providing those of you who can play the new weekend a high-quality competitive experience and a heck of a fun time.
Here are the options, going forward:
(1) You want to play the B-Tier on 9/27-28. We will move your entry over to that event and no further action is needed on your part. If we don't hear from you by Friday, June 27, this is what we will do automatically.
(2) You cannot or do not want to play the B-Tier on 9/27-28. We will refund your entry fee in full.
