Hello everyone and thank you for joining Dips Discs and Whidbey Island Disc Golf Club for the 1st annual NORTH WHIDBEY OPEN!

All ponds and golf greens will play as Out of Bounds. The highway and parking lot also play as OB. Please take your lie where it was last in bounds with a 1 stroke penalty. If your disc goes into a pond, please wait until the end of the round to get your disc to help with the speed of play, unless it is easy to grab. The pro-shop has a disc grabber if needed after your round.

No alcohol or drugs allowed during your round. It is an automatic Disqualification per PDGA guidelines. (Don’t let me see it if you purchase it from the pro-shop)

Hole 5 will play from the marked tee pad along the road. This hole will play as a PAR 4 and there is NO OB on this hole.

Hole 6 will play from the short pad (Red Pad). Do your best to avoid walking through the areas that have bark in them as they are trying to repair them. It may be unavoidable at times but let’s do our best to avoid walking in those areas unless your disc lands in them.

The ditch that splits holes 11 and 17 will get a 2-meter relief (6 feet) so we don’t have any broken ankles. The ditch along holes 12 and 16 will get a 1-meter relief (3 feet) so we don’t have any broken ankles.

All holes minus holes 5 and 6 will play from the blue pads on the front 9 and all pads on the back 9 will play from the Flagged tee pads.

PDGA Live scoring will be used for scorekeeping. Please use NWO to log into Live Scoring. As of 2024 all players on the card are required to keep score whether you are using PDGA live or U-Disc or paper score cards (which will be provided) all players on the card are REQUIRED to keep score, no exceptions.

PDGA Live scoring app will have all the hole PAR’S listed, and the notes/OB’s listed as well.

Dips Discs will be on site vending for all the plastic/merch your heart desires. Please be patient as we are working with a limited staff, and we will help everyone as fast as we can.

All AM’s will be playing for Trophies (1st-3rd every division) and scrip at the Dips Discs tent! All pro’s will be playing for Trophies and $$ (Top 40%).
