Some of us don't use Facebook, so we will be out of loop. However, I see the same thing happen for a lot of the non PDGA tournaments in NOCO the last 2 to 3 years. Tournaments get announces 1 to 2 weeks prior to the tournament start date on NOCOdiscgolf.com. That has been the main site I visit, and have seen this happen many times there. With all of this said, I suggest listing on NOCOdiscgolf.com as soon as tournament is ready to be announced. Or, maybe I should stop using that site as my main reference.

Constructive feedback. Most tournaments in Northern Colorado aren't announced ONLINE until 1-2 weeks prior to the event. This has been occurring for years, and makes it difficult for people to plan or even know about the tournaments. It is discouraging to find out about tournaments after they happened or announced online 1 week prior to the tourney date. Then it is too late to make arrangements for other obligations.
Glenn, Sorry you didn't get notified about this event earlier. We created a Facebook page event for it back in July. This has been announced even earlier. What could we have done to get the word out sooner? I would like to know so future events can have a larger turnout. Thanks! - Jon
