Good evening. I am super excited that you signed up to be part of our "Night Flights Spring Series 2025" at Lincoln Ridge on 4/18/2025. This will be a 1 round PDGA C-Tier. We will do a shotgun start at 6p sharp.
If you decide to withdraw from the event, you must do so by 1p on day of event for a refund.
Cheryl and I will be at tournament central, which will be across from hole 1 in the parking lot.
We will begin check in around 530p. We will have a shotgun start at 6p. I will post hole assignments by around 1p on event day, since registration will be open until them. They will be found at:
https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/91859
With doing a shotgun start, make sure you are at your hole by 558p when we will yell "two minutes". Please be aware that the course is not shut down for this event, so be mindful and considerate of casuals who may be on the course. It's important that we all play nice together.
Here is the schedule of events. The schedule will look like this:
530-550p - Player Check In
6p - Shotgun Start
@730p- Awards/payouts
For those in the ACE fund, payouts will be done electronically this year. If an ACE isn't hit, it moves to the next week of the series with no throw off. There is a $60 carryover from previous Night Flights.
We will be using PDGA Live for all scoring, and a reminder that everyone needs to keep score now (PDGA live, Udisc or paper copy). The PDGA Live access code is: banklick418
We will play the "Winter 20". That is holes 1-13, then 18-24. We will play the upper tee pads on holes 10, 18, 19, and 21. The course is in the process of putting out new baskets, and also putting baskets in alternate positions that we are used to seeing. I have been told that no hole has 2 baskets, but could be in different spots. Please identify where the basket is before firing away. Hole 5 is a blind shot, so just confirm first.
The only potential issue on the course is the bridges. If you land under the bridge and are unable to take a legal stance, you may stand above on the bridge as agreed on by your card. OB will basically be on/over roads on the holes close to them, or surrounded by water on the holes with ponds.
Cards will be made of of primarily 3-4 players. Depending on numbers, we may have to mix some divisions. We will do our best to make sure everyone is with at least 1 person from their division.
All AM divisions will receive AM's merchandise credit to use immediately following the completion of their divisions rounds. There will be merchandise on hand to exchange. Open players will receive their payouts via PayPal electronically.
It is on each player to know the PDGA rules and guidelines. It is on each card to make sure you are on the appropriate tee. It's easy to go to the wrong hole sometimes, so make sure the card confirms they are on the correct tee pad for each hole.
It's going to be a great late afternoon/early afternoon round. Again, we are excited that you are going to join us.
See you at the course!
Josh and Cheryl Terwilleger
