TOMORROW'S MONTHLY!
We're playing the new Forest Valley course! It currently looks - barring walk-ups and last-minute registrations - like we'll be doing a shotgun start on holes 1, 3, 9, 12, 16. Layout is mostly blue tees to blue baskets, with gold baskets in play on 2, 6, 8, 11, and 18.
Registration will open at 8:30am at the Forest Greens clubhouse. The Forest Valley course is at the far end of the parking lot, with hole 1 to the right, holes 3 and 9 up the path to the left, and holes 12 and 16 around the corner past the white outbuilding and up that path. You may warm up on the course.
We will have a brief players' meeting/hole assignment reveal at the warm-up area by hole 1 at 9:45, and we will tee off at 10:00am. There are essentially no course notes; if you manage to land in a pond on 3, 4, or 13 or over the property line on 4, 5, 16, or 17, you're OB, but those are not in play for all but the most disastrous golf shots.
There is a juniors golf tournament (part of the Hurricane Tour) on the golf course tomorrow, so please comport yourself as if children are around whenever you are in public places.
