Hey Folks, if you’re thinking about joining us on Sunday – I wanted to take a moment to highlight the top 10 reasons to play Next Gen Tour this year.
1) NG is now sponsored by ALL MAJOR MANUFACTURERS. Players choice of manufacturer for player packages. Each manufacturer has provided us a unique, limited run disc for the series.
2) ALL AMATEUR DIVISIONS are now part of the tour.
3) NG tournaments NOW have FULL PDGA-SCALE PAYOUTS; All happens online with credit from title sponsor Infinitediscs.com – the country’s largest online retailer. NG Exclusive events pay around 130% back to the field. Stack your winnings for a huge shopping spree.
4) THE TOUR IS A POINT SERIES this year. Points are based on PDGA points earning them depends on tier/event type. All players have an individual profile with event summaries, points earned, state, region and national rankings. This weekend’s exclusive event is 4X PDGA points.
5) EVERY PLAYER AUTO-QUALIFIES FOR REGIONAL AND NATIONAL PAYOUTS. The top divisional point earners, by region and nationally (top regional point earners have a good chance of being paid at the national level as well) will be awarded $30K (projected, more if possible, depends on tour participation) via online payout from title sponsor, the Infinitediscs.com store. Note: Advanced, Women and Advanced Masters receive regional payouts online and national payout via the National Championship.

9) NG grows disc golf with EDGE PARTNERSHIP. We increased entry by $1 this year and kicked in $1 from our side to promote school disc golf programs via EDGE. This program plus added efforts have us on track to donate almost $20K to EDGE this year.
