We have established June 26, 2021 as the new date for this event. As June 10th is the target date for reopening in Alberta it provides us with a little buffer in the event things are delayed a week or so.
The venue is still Lloyd Park, but we need to confirm with the venue still. In the event Lloyd Park is not available on that date we will move the event 15 km away to WJ Homestead.
Wednesday, June 9 - FINAL EVENT INFO WILL BE PROVIDED
100% clarity regarding the venue location will be ...

Hello Players,
After discussing things with the TD and local authorities the decision has been made to once again postpone this event.
The new date after preliminary approvals will be 9/18/2021. We understand this is months away but the TD and Staff wanted to make sure the event would have a higher likelihood of going on.
IF you would like a full refund please let me know and I will get that processed this week for you, If I do not hear from you I will assume you would like to remain in the e ...

Our current waitlist is 36 people. It's very unlikely we will be opening registration up to provide more opportunities for people to add their name to the waitlist. We know this is a bummer but we're only able to accommodate so many people and the group we've got on our list have been waiting since April for this event to go off.
Please do not process my withdrawl request. I made an error--thought it was on June 26th.

Is this event a go ahead for June 5th?

Players, email came from [email redacted] just moments ago regarding the postponement of this event, please check your spam folders if you did not receive it, potential action required

On April 6, the Alberta government updated our province with the disappointing news that we will be returning to Step 1 of our reopening plan. This will make hosting this event in 11 days problematic, to say the least.
We're unfortunately going to have to provide some very disappointing updates for our registered and waitlisted competitors regarding this event.
As Player Packs are already on route, there are still some silver linings to look forward to.
The NADGT team will provide ...

I don’t know about you folks, but I am starting to really get a good feeling about Lloyd Park. It is a bit of a drove for my crew (from Red Deer) but is worth it. I can’t wait for the trees and grass to green up, and for the spring winds to calm down. There is going to be some awesome disc golf here this summer! What a great place for tournaments...

On Tuesday, April 6th we will be able to announce what our current situation is with Alberta Health Services regarding the hosting of this event on the current date.
All registered and waitlisted competitors will be contacted via email. We will then post here with a formal update regarding the Wild Rose Open event.
Thank you for your patience. We've been working as quickly as we can to accommodate a response that provides as much clarity as possible.
Thanks!
Lobo

Any word on if this tournament is happening? Would like to start planning my April.
Hello, Mik! We're patiently waiting word from Alberta Health Services to ensure we're cleared to host in Alberta. I'm certain you've been waiting to hear the same for the events you're waiting to have cleared as well. As we're just under three-weeks away from the date of the event it's very likely we'll have more information to share by early next week.

Lloyd Park walk through: https://youtu.be/ezFxVHGhvFs
I actually went out to Lloyd this past weekend to film a walkthrough but the wind hit crazy speeds. It was a fun day to throw 150g drivers!

Tried to look for any videos of this course but no luck. Anyone have 18 holes drone on that course? look beast!!
I am headed down on March 28 to do some filming. There are a few YouTube vids you can check out before my stuff goes up
Udisc also has a number of layouts available for the course. It's likely the majority of the holes are in the A position right now.

Some players received a refund email from Paypal, I am looking into what happened and will email those players here this afternoon once I situate who all was effected by the situation. Those players who received those emails are still in the event, you have not lost your spot.
Awesome sounds good! I already emailed Paypal (don't have an account). Glad to know we haven't lost our spot—thanks Kyle!
Only 22 players were effected by the issue. Emails went out to those 22 players just moments ago. Sorry for the inconvenience and the 50 players not contacted I have confirmed everything is good to go.
Can I get my name on the waitlist when you open it back up?
