Hello Registered Players and Waitlisters!
We are very excited for our Presidents Day Bash on Monday the 15th and I can not wait to launch the Tournament Season in Colorado!
I wanted to reach out to provide some general event information prior to the event(yes this is a lot but it is all important, I promise) :
-Masks will be required inside any buildings on site, and when in the player pack pick up area, as well as any area where 6ft of social distancing is not able to be achieved.
-Below you will find an image of projected payouts IF divisions do not change sizes. The NADGT events player packs are 100% value of Net Entry, and $12.50 per player is put toward payout to Infinite Discs, and paid out to the top 25% of the division.
- Top 20% of each division will get invitations to the NADGT National Championships in Austin Texas, October 28th-31st.
-This is a PDGA B-Tier event, we have a lot of newer players in the sport these days so please be familiar with the PDGA Rules found HERE. If you have any questions about rules please feel free to reach out to me.
-Layout: We are finalizing layouts and I will have maps out to you early next week when they are good to go. I have included a map from past events to give you an idea of what the layout may look like, THIS IS NOT GUARANTEED TO BE THE COURSE MAP FOR OUR EVENT. Being a private course I just want you to see somewhat of what this may look like and give you an idea of the course.
- Practice Days: Currently we have 2 practice days confirmed, the rounds are $2 for tournament players and waitlisters to participate. Those 2 days are Saturday the 13th from 9am-Dark and Sunday the 14th from 1pm-Dark.
-This is an alcohol and substance free facility. On top of the event being a PDGA Sanctioned event and therefore alcohol, and marijuana not being allowed during play as is, you are not allowed to consume on the property at all. If you are caught violating this rule on practice days or at the event, you will be removed/disqualified from participation. Smoking cigarettes is also not allowed on the course, course hole 14 is the only area to step off property to the dirt road in order to smoke.
-Waitlisters, if you get off the waitlist you will receive an email from Disc Golf Scene asking you to complete your registration, you have 48 hours from that email to register or your spot will go to the next player. If you do not get in off the waitlist, the fee will be refunded the day after the tournament.
-Waitlisters, do not show up on the day of in hopes to get in, we are minimizing the number of people on property for social distancing purposes, the waitlist will be managed up until 8pm Sunday the 14th. If you do not receive an email or a reach out by myself than you did not get in.
-Digital check in will be sent via email Wednesday the 10th and require a response back, time frames will be listed in this email.
-Player packs will be packaged and ready to go on the day off the event for you. Waitlisters who get or got in after Sunday the 31st, the selection portions of your pack will be mailed directly to you.
- Final player email and starting hole assignments will go out on Sunday the 14th at approximately 8pm for you to know where to start. We will use PDGA digital score cards and Udisc digital scoring as back up to the system. Per PDGA we must have 2 score cards per group. The PDGA digital score card will be the official card and instructions on that will be sent out in the final player's email.
