Vance Byer    March 21, 2021 at 6:25am

Just got home from this great event! Sadly I checked out my shirt from the player pack and I was given a women’s medium instead of a men’s and won’t be able to wear it. Is there any chance I could be sent the correct size or be refunded the cost of it?

Chip Frink   April 14, 2021 at 6:07pm

And I put something special in there for the delay, you are the first to have one! Enjoy

Chip Frink   April 16, 2021 at 6:20pm

ETA Saturday 4/17 via UPS

Morgan Goutermont    March 19, 2021 at 5:09pm

So I was so excited for the tournament, It’s my first one so I wanted to get there early. I left my house in sac at 6:45, figured I would get there at 8:30 an get a practice round in. I drove up and my phone took me to the wrong place, took me 30 minutes to find the right place. But I was freaking out because I couldn’t find anyone, there was no one anywhere near the place at all! So I played half the course and I accidentally through my favorite disc to Narnia. I soon started to get ... more

Chip Frink   March 19, 2021 at 8:43pm

There is supposed to be an updated final tee times . I’m not seeing it?

Mark Reynolds-Delaney   March 18, 2021 at 5:09pm

That's because they are supposed to be posted later today

Mark Reynolds-Delaney    March 18, 2021 at 3:27am

Anyone know of anywhere close by to camp? I'm playing both days and would rather stay up instead of drive up each day

Mark Forsyth   March 19, 2021 at 12:01am

Browns and Bows is 30 minutes away and has camping

Mark Reynolds-Delaney   March 19, 2021 at 12:31am

Unfortunately I believe they're doing an ace race this weekend so camping is for that event only. Otherwise that's a sweet idea. I already got it figured out though so thanks

Adam Fischlin    March 18, 2021 at 2:23am

I'm a little late to the party but if tee times aren't set, I would like to be in Adam Raty group in MA2. If it's too late, no big deal. Thanks!

Tee times??

Mark Forsyth   March 18, 2021 at 2:34am

posted in photos but I think they might change...

Bailey Brown    March 17, 2021 at 5:49pm

So are we going to play one set of tees for one round and the next set of tees for the next? For example playing A tees 1st round and B tees 2nd round? That would be cool. Or is it Am 1 plays long tees and Am 2 and 3 plays short tees?

Bailey Brown   March 17, 2021 at 10:34pm

Ah ok I was just looking at the specific hole rules on that sheet, my bad. Thanks.

Chip Frink   March 17, 2021 at 10:49pm

no worries, see ya this w/e

Armando Lopez Jr    March 17, 2021 at 1:27am

I didn’t see your response Chip. Apologize.
I’m looking forward to it and interested to see how double tee times in one day works. Cheers.

Chip Frink   March 17, 2021 at 10:51pm

all good Mando see ya soon

Chip Frink    March 16, 2021 at 4:52pm

for clarification, both rounds will be using tee times, the groups will be adjusted during your lunch break, within your field, according to score as close as possible.

Kelly is a long walk on an old ball golf course, sending out groups in a shotgun start is not fun. plus covid recommendations encourage the use of tee times to reduce lg gatherings

Further, if I do not follow the guidelines, local and PDGA, I can be suspended from running sanctioned events for the future. Im trying to do my best for you and the other golfers, as mentioned you have choices to make regarding your participation in this event.

Adam 'Static' Pelayo   March 17, 2021 at 1:50am

Sounds good Chip, I was just wondering cuz Ive never heard of 2 teetimes in one day and how that would work. Thanks for doing what you can.

Chip Frink   March 17, 2021 at 9:55pm

See ya soon, these are very different days from a short time ago, good luck out there.

Arturo Barba    March 16, 2021 at 4:42pm

Arturo Barba   March 20, 2021 at 5:55am

Adam 'Static' Pelayo    March 16, 2021 at 4:28pm

Wondering why there is no shotgun start? Never have done 2 rounds for tee times which is a bit off

Chip Frink   March 16, 2021 at 4:55pm

i have done 2 rounds of tee times many times, read my response above, related to length of walk, pdga covid guidelines, local regs etc. I have designed the layout and the order of divisions to insure success.

dave cox    March 16, 2021 at 1:12am

Do people use caddies for tournaments like this?

Bryan Delgado    March 14, 2021 at 3:55am

Please withdraw me from MA2 and issue a refund if possible. Glad to see someone is on the waitlist for MA2 and they can fill the spot! Bummed I can't make it.

We will be attempting to do pdga live scoring, like udisc but not, and also use a paper scorecard for backup resolving scoring issues,
disclaimer, I have not done pdga live scoring before, im a scorecard OG kinda guy, but am going to push the boundaries of my abilities, thx for your patience.
I did TD a NorCal Series Finals course last year and they used it, but I didnt have to do much, seemed seamless to me.
we will give it a try.
Stay tuned

Armando Lopez Jr   March 16, 2021 at 11:59pm

It's really easy to use. I've used it for the past two tournaments. Very useful and I love seeing where I stand during play.

Chip Frink   March 17, 2021 at 9:47pm
