Hi Keith, I just noticed someone drop out of MA40, what’s to become of the remaining? It’s a min. of 3 competitors per division correct?

Keith Overstreet   February 28, 2021 at 3:05am

Not really. I checked earlier with NADGT and there is no minimum per division or at least this is my understanding.

Keith Overstreet   February 28, 2021 at 3:12am

Bob, I think you are referring to "groups" (not the same as a division) which should be a minimum of 3 players on the hole. If less than 3 I have to have a tournament official accompany the group. The competition manual specifies at least 3 but no more than 5 in a group.

Bob Davies   February 28, 2021 at 3:18am

Thanks Keith, see you tomorrow

Keith Overstreet    February 28, 2021 at 2:33am

We will have two non cash CTPs for each round tomorrow. Most likely 1 and 18, to keep them simple and close by.

(PSA) Two meter rule is not applicable to this tournament.

the 2 meter rule is that when you do that, you also take a stroke. No 2-meter rule means no penalty for getting stuck in trees.

Keith Overstreet   February 27, 2021 at 1:58am

Get stuck in a tree, establish your marker disc underneath and don't worry about the rest. No penalty.

Keith Overstreet   February 27, 2021 at 1:59am

And if anyone picks up their disc within two feet of the basket, i'll assess the penalty throw myself.

Caddy books have been emailed. Will have some hard copies at Tournament Central if you need one. All payouts will be online so award ceremony will be short.

probably what you expected anyway.

Gabe Brown   February 24, 2021 at 4:05pm

I will give you credit. You did answer my initial question. LOL I was counting on throwing in the river being allowed.

Keith Overstreet   February 24, 2021 at 4:10pm

I'm sure you were.... :)

Keith Overstreet    February 23, 2021 at 1:47am

(PSA)We will be playing the tournament in any weather except lightning. Rain will not stop the tournament.

What happens if it rains

Keith Overstreet   February 23, 2021 at 1:49am

We will play in the rain. Only lightening will stop play.

Richard Van Manen   February 23, 2021 at 4:46pm

what about murder hornets?

Keith Overstreet   February 23, 2021 at 6:43pm

They will just focus their attention on one of you and the rest can play. The one attacked will have to take a DNF.

Wynn Coggin    February 20, 2021 at 4:36am

Are we allowed to change the divisions that we signed up for? My wife signed me up in the recreational division as a Christmas gift, but I’d like to compete in the intermediate.

Kyle Maute   February 20, 2021 at 3:02pm

Updated ou to intermediate.

Wynn Coggin   February 21, 2021 at 7:37pm

Thanks!

Any chance of player cap being bumped to 90?

I'm working with NADGT and the County to see if possible. Stand by.

Unfortunately, I am not going to be able to participate in this tournament and ask to be withdrawn. Thank you.

Sorry you had to withdraw Don. i'll be doing another one in Anderson at the Trails the last Sunday in August. NADGT folks will take care of the refund.

Shady Rays is a sunglasses company that is a sponsor of the Tour. This option allows the player to upgrate their player pack to a pair of Shady Ray sunglasses.

Keith Overstreet   December 22, 2020 at 8:53pm

Derek, I own about 4 pairs myself. Good shades and $25 is around half price for decent shades.

Derek Cooper   December 24, 2020 at 2:33am

Very nice! Thanks y'all

Ted Mosher IV    December 19, 2020 at 11:28am

I signed up for the event but never received a confirmation email. My name’s on the list but just curious if I still need to do something to receive the confirmation?
