Christopher Dehler Will the mando trees be clearly marked? Since we aren't using the mando pole/sign? Also, is the mando plane going to be the same angle as the sign? Apr 18, 2024
show 1 earlier comment
Christopher Dehler Apr 19, 2024 And it's the plane line the same angle as the sign?
Christopher Dehler Apr 19, 2024 Or will there be Infinity flags to mark the plane?
Ivan Detchev Apr 21, 2024 The planes are marked with infinity flags because the the green signs with white arrows are not necessarily oriented for that purpose.
Spencer Law Do we have an estimate for when the caddie book will be sent out? We are getting awfully close to the event without any idea what the layout will look like. Apr 18, 2024

Robin Lambert Apr 18, 2024 A stroke is a stroke. +/- doesn't really matter in the end, other than to the mental game. IMO.
Ivan Detchev Apr 19, 2024 Yes, sorry, all holes are par 3 at Currie; we have that reflected in the scoring app
Spencer Law Apr 19, 2024 Thank you for the clarification Ivan! I'm excited for Sunday!
Stevan Loertscher Can I come play on Saturday before the tournament? And will the layout be the tournament layout? Apr 18, 2024

Robin Lambert Apr 18, 2024 Interesting. Agree to disagree. I would gladly play blind if no one else also knew the course. To each their own. Not matter what, I am excited for Sunday!
Christopher Dehler Apr 18, 2024
If it was a brand new course that no one played before. Or was significantly redesigned, I would com ... show more ›
Stevan Loertscher Apr 19, 2024 My main course I play is baker. The only time I have played at currie was the ice bowl in March and the Canada day tournament last summer. Besides that I hardly ever play currie.
Jonathan Auger Is there still snow out in Calgary right now or has it all melted?

Apr 17, 2024
Robert Vander Pyl Apr 17, 2024 It was bare and dry up until yesterday. Most likely be gone again by Sunday although maybe still some muddy areas,
Jonathan Auger Apr 17, 2024 Alright thanks for letting me know!
Dion Clifford What layout are we playing for the event? Here to practice for the tournament, looks like basket 18 and 20 have been removed, very frustrated!!! Apr 13, 2024

Ivan Detchev Apr 16, 2024 There will be some; I hope you won't be disappointed
Robin Lambert Apr 16, 2024 i won't be!
Christopher Dehler Apr 16, 2024 Thanks Ivan. I guess I was asking about the hazard lines being clearly marked :p I'll wait until the caddie book comes out though and then may ask more specifics if needed. Thank you :)
Everette Lerner Is there a way to view the layout besides the course sign pictures? Is that the tournament layout we will be using? I entered this tourney not realizing I wouldn’t be able to get to town until Saturday night, like an idiot. Apr 5, 2024
Ivan Detchev Apr 5, 2024
Hi Everette, go to UDisc and find the Currie Reservoir course. Then when you are in the course overv ... show more ›
Quinn Stockdale Hey there. Will waitlisted players receive full refunds if they do not end up getting a spot? Apr 4, 2024
show 2 earlier comments
Quinn Stockdale Apr 5, 2024 Thanks so much! Do you see any possibility of adding players from the waitlist to existing cards or will promotions only happen for drop outs now?
Ivan Detchev Apr 5, 2024 We are debating this. Will get back to you once we reach a conclusion.
Ivan Detchev Apr 11, 2024 Hi Quinn, we decided to promote the players on the waiting list, and close registration. This alleviates some of the last min stress for everyone.
Stevan Loertscher Is there going to be food provide at the course, like a bbq or something? Just curious. Same with raffle prizes. Mar 5, 2024

Robert Vander Pyl Apr 2, 2024 To bad.
Jonathan Auger I watched a video on YouTube of this course and the guy mentioned that it's a 21 hole course. Is this how it's played for the tournament? Mar 4, 2024
Ivan Detchev Mar 5, 2024
Hi Jonathan, I replied to your question last night, but for some reason my answer is not visible any ... show more ›
Jonathan Auger Mar 6, 2024 Okay awesome thanks for getting back to me Ivan! 21 holes sounds like a great idea and I'd be 100% down for that.
