I have been getting a fair amount of requests for a Saturday/Sunday event instead of a full three days (folks having a hard time getting off work and what not). So, I’m going to put this out there. First, would players that are already registered be upset if it got reduced to two days with a practice day on Friday? And, who would be happy with a practice day on Friday and Saturday/Sunday tournament dates? The only real concern we have is opening up the lifts on Friday and not having players practicing to be worth the squeeze for Willamette Pass. Oh ya, it would be open to casual players as well on Friday, if that’s the case; this could be a win-win for WP. Just thoughts for making this the best event it can be.

This just in! Willamette Pass is offering camping for the weekend (Friday and Saturday night) for an additional $30, which you can select as an option on the registration page. If you have already registered and want to camp, contact the tournament director for payment options. Electrical hookups for RVs will also be available on a limited site number basis. More details to follow. Dang! This is going to be an amazing event experience:)

Okay, everyone, we are about to embark on a journey that will be marked prominently in Oregon disc golf history. We got Willamette Pass to host the event in September! This will truly be a Mountain Town Throwdown with lift access to the most incredible setting one could ask for. Due to that incredible nature, we are extending the weekend (Friday thru Sunday) for the event so golfers can maximize the fun factor and play just a single round each day. If this is something that you can’t commit to, we understand and we’ll give you a FULL REFUND. For those that can commit to this extended B Tier weekend, the 2024 fall equinox will not disappoint. I mean, how can you beat camping up in the mountains and playing disc golf on one:)

It's with much consideration and consternation that we are going to postpone the Mountain Town Throwdown until summer's end (September 21st and 22nd weekend). This decision wasn't an easy one, but Mothers Day weekend just wasn't in the cards. We will refund and remove you from the tournament no questions asked if you can't make the new date. Okay, folks, it’s not looking too good in terms of interest for this tournament on this particular weekend, which I understand since it is Mothers Day weekend, but with all the stacked tournaments out there, it’s hard to get a weekend that aligns with local event schedules as well (Circle Bar has an event the weekend before and the weekend after). So, we’re definitely willing to postpone this event to a weekend that isn’t so stacked and packed. That is, unless, folks start signing up in mass all of a sudden. We’ll just have to see. A decision will be made soon. Feedback is encouraged:)
