As we are finalizing everything before the big weekend, we wanted to remind players that we will be doing a raffle this year! The raffle will take place Saturday afternoon/evening after the second round while we are doing the final scores and the awards ceremonies. Prizes include a basket, bags, jerseys, and more!

Tickets can be purchased in advance by messaging me or the Saturday of the event all the way up until we start the raffle. For all of you Sunday players, if you aren't planning to come up Saturday but would still like to participate, no worries! You can purchase tickets in advance and we will put them in the raffle for you. If you win any prizes, we will hold them and give them to you on Sunday!.

Online registration is closed! Thank you everyone for signing up. We look forward to meeting all of you on the mountain next weekend. A couple of other things to announce.

There will be a raffle Saturday afternoon/evening, during the awards ceremony. If you would like to participate, you can buy raffle tickets there or you can buy them beforehand and we will give them to you then. If you are a Sunday player and would like to get in on the raffle, but can't make it up on Saturday, no worries! You can prepay for tickets and any prizes that you win we will set them aside for you and give them to you on Sunday. Prizes include a basket and a couple of bags, just to name a few!

The caddy book will be out next week. We are going to the course this weekend to check on some things and make sure the course design is correct. If you played last year, you know about the extra drop zones we put into play to help keep the pace of play. We are also looking at adding some OB lines to add some challenge and keep other players safe.

Any kind of refunds will be handled once I get back and will be done according to PDGA standards (posted in another link). We will have a log of when inquiries are sent and will answer them in order. If you are looking to play one of the Sunday divisions and you see that your division as reached it's cap, I encourage you to still sign up. I will add players to the event to use up spots if they are wanting to play in a Sunday division.

If you are on the waitlist for a Saturday division and want to switch to play in a Sunday division, let me know. For example, if you are waitlsited for MA2, I can move you to MA1 and you would be playing Sunday instead of Saturday.

We have added some players from the wait-list to being registered players for the Sunday divisions. If you are in a Sunday division and were on the wait-list, please check your email.

I will be working on adding players from the wait-list for the Saturday divisions. I have to go by the overall wait-list for that, which requires some work, so be patient on that. I will be adding players over the next few days.

If you are added to the event from the wait-list, you will have 48 hours to register if you are in a division that is impacted (which means that there are players on the wait-list behind you). If you do not register within that time or I do not hear from you, then I will add the next player. We have a lot of people that want to play.

If you sponsored a hole, we are starting to collect the artwork for the tee signs. We are redoing the design compared to last year. We will be emailing/messaging each sponsor soon to request artwork for the signs. If you have it ready, you can send it to [email redacted]. Be sure to include your name with the artwork so we know which hole to put with each sponsor.

This a reminder that today is the last day to register for any divisions that currently have spaces still available. Starting tomorrow, I am going to be filling players in from the wait-list for the appropriate days of play. I will do what I can to leave some spots open, but I know for sure that Saturday's divisions will be full by the wait-list. Sunday's divisions will have some spots open, but as people register those will get filled up as well. When you are registering, be sure you know which day your division plays.I will not use spots from Sunday to accommodate Saturday players as I want to keep it to 4 players per card max. This post is for those who are currently on the wait-list and any player who is thinking of signing up in one of the divisions that still has spots open.

As of right now, most of the divisions for the event are full and have a wait-list. However, so divisions still have spots available, mainly the divisions playing on Sunday. With that, these tournaments are made for people to play and it is my goal as the TD to have as many players as possible enjoy our sport and our event at one of the top courses in So Cal.

So, here is what is going to happen. The registration will remain open as is until March 30. After March 30, any remaining spots for each day will be used to add players from the wait-list to play in their respective divisions on the day that they are scheduled to play. For example, with only 7 MPO players registered out of 20 spots, I will add players from the MA1 wait-list to register for the event and take away spots from the MPO or other divisions that are not filling up. I will have the order in which players signed up on the wait-list and add them according to that order to the event. I feel that this is the fairest way to allow players to play.

Furthermore, if you are considering playing the event in one of the divisions that still have reserved spots, you need to get registered asap! If not, then those spots will be used for players that want to play.

To clarify, there are 72 spots for each day. I cannot take spots assigned for Sunday and use them for players to play on Saturday. So, if you are registered for a Saturday division and still want to play even though all the spots fill up, you have the option to register for a Sunday division.

Good morning everyone,

Just to be sure everyone knows, we are following the PDGA policy for refunds. If you need to withdraw and receive a full refund (minus handling fees), you need to withdraw at least 30 days before the event. After that, refunds can only be issued if there is another player that can take you spot and pay as we will have already ordered players packs and paid the course. General Registration opens in just under two hours. With that, I will be attending something at that time and will not be online. However, I will be checking in when I am finished tonight. Here are some things to consider.

1) If you do not get on, please join the waitlist. After we see who is registered as as we get closer to the time that we have to order players packs and such, we can see about allocating spots from divisions that have them to those that are open. This is not saying that we will allocate all spots, but if there are open cards and we have enough players on the waitlist to fill another card, then that is an option. We will have more on this soon

2) If your division fills up instantly (as it has in the past) and you are charged full price but are put on the waitlist, please do not start emailing me 1000 times demanding to know what happened. It is part of the system when registration happens and there are way more people on than expected. If you are charged full price but put on the waitlist, I will reach out to out to you and be able to refund you the difference between the registration fee and the waitlist fee.

I have received some emails about places to stay during the event. The Table Mountain campground is right next to the course. You can visit their website to reserve a spot if needed. It can get very cold at night during this time of year, so if you are going to camp, be sure to be prepared for below freezing temperatures. There are also a couple motels in the town of wrightwood, along with a good amount of options for airbnb/vrbo.
