Couple of quick things.

SHIRTS: We have plenty of shirts. All players (ams and pros) get a shirt. The registration stopped asking that question last night as it was tied to the original cutoff. We will actually sell extra shirts for a $10 donation. Remember we have three color options so an extra purchase would not be the exact same.

BATHROOMS: There are no bathrooms at Farmington Park. If coming from out of town, you will find multiple options around the intersection of Winstead ... more

Afternoon players. Looking at the current registrations wanted to remind players that we provide three-deep awards for amateur divisions.

* 1st – Blue Plaque + America’s Best Nuts + Trash Panda Mini
* 2nd – Red Plaque + America’s Best Nuts
* 3rd – White Plaque

We don’t want to see any of these beautiful plaques go to waste. Looking at the current MA2/MA3 division some of you may want to consider shifting divisions (which we allow – of cours ... more

Evan and I will change to MA2. Please keep us on the same card if possible. Thank you again!

Michael Forrester   September 28 at 8:38pm

Perfect. Will do. You were the two most logical moves. Thank you Bryan.

Any chance Evan Harris and I can be on the same card for the first round? Thank you in advance!

Drove by Farmington Course this morning. The City of Rocky Mount gave all of the grass a fresh cut yesterday. Looks like Augusta out there! Well. . . not that perfect, but it looks great.

Forecast for Saturday:
* Partly Sunny
* 9am - 65F
* 10am - 67F
* 11am - 70F
* 12pm - 73F

Perfect day to throw plastic into trees! Hope to see you there as we raise money for the MS Society.

What is an XC tournament?

Michael Forrester   September 10 at 11:06am

Hi Chris. It is a C tier event. The “X” designation is because we are a charitable event with 100% going to the MS Society. The PDGA has a program where event director fees can be removed to increase the fundraising potential. The X can mean other things when an event has modified rules, but in our case it is because of the charitable aspect.

This is from the PDGA site which explains it better: X-Tier X-Tiers are not a separate Tier, but rather a designation used in conjunction with another Tier level (XM, XA, XB, or XC). X-Tier events either use experimental formats or have deviations from ordinary PDGA rules and regulations significa ... more

Just posted a picture of the division awards. These came out great. Reminder that top three in each division will receive a plaque. Pro division plaques have the same design but are larger.

Looking forward to hosting you at Farmington soon. We have posted a few photos that will give you a sneak peak of the event shirts (going to all players), plaque awards mockup (top 3 each division), and the event disc (part of amateur player packs).

Registration shows available shirt sizes online. To guarantee your size, sign up early. Shirt color choice is first-come-first service at the event.
