This year our Honoree and face of the Midwest Masters is Brad Wendt! Last year's Honoree, Tom McManus, chose Brad at the end of last year's event, and this year, as the event comes to a close, I will speak with Brad and consult with him about next year's Honoree!!
Thank you to our sponsors and CTP donators!! With out all of them, we can not do this!

Order Of Events:
Saturday Tee Times start at 8:45 AM MA40 will be the first cards to go. Tee Times will be posted by Friday 8PM. They will be visible before that time, but things may change until Friday 8PM!!
All Players on a card MUST check in at I Fling Plastic 15 minutes before tee time. I want to have your full card at the shop, and I will send you off to your tee time at Hole A with your full card only. No players should meet at the first tee, all must meet at I Fling Plastic!!!
Sunday tee times, same start time of 8:45AM will be posted as soon as I can after saturday's round.
SKINS Match to follow Sunday's round. To qualify for SKINS - the top 4 scores (ties included) on Saturday will compete in the match. SKINS will be played as follows: Each hole is worth $100, and we play 5 holes total. If there is a tie on any of the first 4 holes, the $100 carries over to the next hole. If there is no outright winner on Hole 5, then ONLY the people who tied move on to the final playoff hole for the total amount of the SKINS that were up on the 5th hole. This will be a CTP winner if no outright winner of the playoff hole. SKINS paid via checks.
Awards will be after the SKINS as I will be busy doing all that!! PROS payout will be via Paypal that you signed up with on discgolfscene.com unless otherwise arranged. Check is also an option.
All Amateur payouts will be in credit to I Fling Plastic.
Player Packs!! This is IMPORTANT!!!
ALL PLAYERS - PROS INCLUDED will receive some type of players packs! Everyone will receive a Tone Cinema Movie Pass for 2 voucher and a coupon for 10% off at Watertown Cafe - just 2 doors down from I Fling Plastic. The 10% off is only good Saturday and Monday!! If you want to stop and eat before your round Saturday, please stop in and get your player pack BEFORE you go eat so you can get your discount, but also so they know you are coming as a disc golfer to eat there and support them! I told them I could get 30 people to come in and eat!! Let's make it even more!!! Challenge is yours to accept! $15 value
All Amateur Players will also receive a shirt, a laser etched glass, a hemp filled I Fling Plastic Cosmo mini and a Millennium disc with the event stamp, plus stickers!! $80 value!
Course Rules!!!!! The Live Scoring by the PDGA will be used. You may also use the Paper cards. 2 People on EVERY CARD are required to keep score. If using Live Scoring - The person whose phone is used will score on live scoring, you do not need to take turns handing the phone around sharing the scoring duties. 2 players may keep score on live scoring, and if there is a discrepancy, live scoring will not allow you to go to the next hole until the mismatched scoring issue is resolved. This is the best method! Please note - you must Finalize AND Submit your scores in the Live Scoring score card feature before it will be recorded!
Also - Live Scoring will have a description of each hole if there is anything special to speak of like OB, CTP and more! PLEASE USE LIVE SCORING!!!!!!!! MANY HOLES HAVE CTP's, and listed for each day they are offered and what, and so forth!!
Basic Course Rules: All blacktop Road and Curb is OB. Tennis courts and the walkway in between them is OB. Parking Lot on Temp Hole D is OB - you throw over it to a green that is blind from the tee pad unless you are 8 foot tall. Water is CASUAL!!! Hole B and maybe #11 have water in play. CONCRETE SIDEWALK AND BEYOND (along Highway 26/Church ST) is OB on your starting hole - Hole A. Blacktop walking path is NOT OB beyond A, on B, D, E and F. Blacktop Parking lot at Schafers Water is OB.
HERE IS THE REAL KICKER TO IT ALL!!!!!!
You are playing All Holes, Long and Short Tees, over the 2 days if you are in any division under 65 and you are male. The 65 and 70 and the 2 ladies will be playing all short tees both days!
BARBER POLE STYLE -
Saturday you are playing Odd Holes - Long Tees, Even Holes Short Tees. Sunday you are playing Odd Holes Short Tees and Even Holes Long Tees.
I understand this can possibly be confusing, so each day, you will all play from the tee pad that has the sponsor sign at it for each hole. The Sponsor sign may also tell you if there is a CTP or even a Card CTP (every card will do a CTP on hole #7 Short Sunday for Pernats Sausage links packages!)
Your Live Scoring will also have the distances for each hole each day.
If you are camping - you may set up directly behind my shop. You can enter from Spaulding St by the concrete barriers or at the northern end of my parking lot around the barriers there. You may also set up in the parking lot, preferably the south end over the gravel area. There is a water faucet off the back door entrance to get water. Please do not hook up a hose to a camper as then others can use it. I will be leaving the back door of my shop open to have access to the restroom. Please respect this as last year someone clogged the toilet and did not bother to clean it up. Nathan Strand took on the duty of cleaning up someone else's dootie.... PLEASE don't let this happen this year. I cannot believe I have to even say anything at all about this, honestly. Someone owe's Nathan a big apology!
THANK YOU ALL!!!! SEE YOU SATURDAY!!!!!
I am sincerely excited to see you all again and the new faces too!!
