Good evening everyone and welcome to the 2022 Michigan State Doubles Tournament!

This email will serve as the players meeting for tomorrow, there will be no players meeting before the round. Tournament central will be the pavilion at the top of the hill by the tee pad for hole 18 on Renegade's Trail.

I will be looking for all teams to check in with me when arriving! Check in will end at 9:00 am and if you have not checked in, you will not be assigned a hole to play!

Players will be scoring their rounds via PDGA live scoring, you can access this by going to the following link:

Your starting hole will show via the pdga site no later than 9:20 and we will tee off round 1 no sooner than 9:35. Round 2 will tee off ~1 hour after the last card is marked complete and your round 2 tee time and hole assignments will also be listed in the app once they are set.

OB will be listed in the description of each hole in the app, as well as the tee and target for Renegade's trail. There is only one tee and target on Rivers Edge for each hole.

A couple of notes for clarity: There are no long grass or alternate fairway OB's in play, please be mindful of other players in these cases as some fairways (particularly 11, 12, & 15) play close together and shots can drift from one fairway to another. Pace of play always defers to the card further ahead on the course in these cases. On hole 8 Renegade's trail, the area to the left that is sometimes marshy is completely dry, there is no OB left, only road and over right. On hole 13 there is a rock walkway short of the tunnel to the long basket that is not a bunker, that is also not OB if you land there, only the two bunkers that are painted are OB. On Rivers Edge, the river OB is only if your disc is completely surrounded by water, the shores are not painted. Use your best judgement in these situations, with benefit going to the player. If the card cannot come to a conclusion on a lie, play a provisional from both lies and come talk to the TD after the round for a ruling.
