PDGA has final TD report and all PDGA Fees have been paid and the event will get added to your PDGA profile based on the PDGA updates and when those updates fall. Mark and I have submitted all documentation to the PDGA and it is in their court for when the updates get added to your profile. Thanks

Possibly for next year we are thinking 2 rounds in MI on Saturday at Vienna with AM2 and above playing both set ups (the Red Tees 1 round and the Blue tees 1 round) and then on Sunday 2 rounds at Ottawa with the same set up with 1 round from the Red tees and one round from the Blue tees. This would be 4 rounds of disc golf at higher level courses and it still be 2 rounds in each state. Also, I like the idea of Ohio vs Michigan with possibly points given for the top 5 spots in each division and ... more

Don't change it.

Although I will say that Parmalee is awfully small for an A tier...too bad there's no other choice. What about Willow Metropark? It's only 35 minutes away from Vienna and it's still close enough to the border. You could start the tourney at Willow and end the day at Vienna. Considerin ... more

One more thing. Willow has 24 holes already, so you wouldn't have to set up temp baskets there/mark obs or mandos, etc. to play 21 holes.

Love the concept of this tourney, MI vs. OH. Possibly have weighted points(or something) for players from each state, so a state champ could be decided. Maybe an extra reward for players from the winning state, even if it's just a trophy to carry until the next year. Players party was one of the best, great job Mark and Mike. Really enjoyed everyone I played with, kudos to all from the area. Only negative I see is the turnout and the course selection, possibly their related. Parmalee probably shouldn't be played in an A tier tournament. Hope to see everyone again next year.

Very fun weekend! Thanks to Mark, Mike and their Peeps for all of your hard work to make this tournament a success. My only wish was that a few other old farts would have stepped up to the plate and play in Advanced Grand Masters, my preferred division. When MG1 was eliminated I was put into Intermediate, which was fine, but it is tough for an old guy to keep up with the youngins.

to recap most of the side games: the 4 plastic ctp's (1 per round) were won by brandon johnson, rob raymo, derek bricker and adam schneider. the 2 cash ctp's were won by g. carrillo $93 and r. brophy $20. there were only 2 aces over the weekend, devon "don't mess with texas" gattis and rob dahmer....they split the ace pool. the basket toss challenge went to cory "narc" wampler with j. collins, baron thoma, james mayes and rob dahman all winning shopping sprees ... more
