The park and course will be open by 7:30 a.m. Please enter through the auxiliary gate which is located about 1/4 mile north of the main entrance before the maintenance entrance and Ox Bow School. Look for a dirt road off of County Road 45.

The park and course will be open by 7:30 a.m. Please enter through the auxiliary gate which is located about 1/4 mile north of the main entrance before the maintenance entrance and Ox Bow School. Look for a dirt road off of County Road 45.

Once you enter the park, drive up the dirt road (parallel to hole 23) and turn left at the intersection. You can park by hole one or a little further up between holes 2, 19 and 20. Stable shelter is there. Bathrooms are also in that location.

Check-in will begin no later than 8 a.m. with the player's meeting at 8:15 a.m. and tee off at 8:30. All players must check in at tournament central which is located at the Stable shelter.

Ams will pick up their player package at check-in. Hole assignments are posted at the PDGA event page for the Turkey Shootout. Follow this link: https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/61583

Daylight is at a premium this time of year, especially with the overcast skies and rain forecast for Saturday. Please be mindful of the schedule. We will observe a strict 1-hour break between the first and second rounds. There is no player meeting between rounds. After lunch you should go to your assigned hole and await the 2-minute warning.

Consider packing your lunch. If you leave the park between rounds please re-enter through the auxiliary gate and leave yourself time to get back just in case there is a train or two on the tracks which run parallel with CR 45 and perpendicular to the 15 or so restaurants across from the park.

So I think I missed something we are skipping 2of 24 holes to make an 18 hole course I’m not a math expert but.,,,,,

CTPs, LONGEST PUTTS, AND NICE UPS!

There are prizes on every hole with each division competing for a CTP, Longest putt, and closest second shot. This is in effect for both rounds. MA50 only has a CTP and longest putt so I've sweetened the prizes to make up for one less opportunity.

Ox Bow Update

The temporary short tee pads for holes 4, 8, 12, and 13 are up. For the event on Wednesday, everyone will play from the shorts on 4 and 8. We are skipping 12 and 13 that day s part of our 18-hole round.

At the Turkey Shootout, MA50, MA55, MA3, MA4 and the women's division will play from the short tee pads both rounds.
