China Peak Rules
No 2 meter rule.
(Please try and throw bright colored discs, they’re easier to find!)
1. Don’t fade right whatever you do! Next Tee is up to your left.
2. I like the hyzer, hang it out wide right and stay out of the thick trees on the left. Next tee is a temp tee in the middle of the runway. Look for marking. (skip original hole 3&4.)
5. This is a temp tee going down to basket 5 (refer to map). Again, I like the hyzer. Next tee is another temp tee to Basket 10. Look for marking and check map.
10. Temp tee location going to #10 basket. Don’t hyzer down to the right, it’s a pretty steep drop!
11. EPIC! Signature hole. 1000ft EVERYONE WATCH EVERYONES SHOT! If you lose a disc, please use the “lost disc drop zone”.
(Its to long of a walk to re tee, PLEASE BE CAREFUL) Next tee is to the right of the basket.
12. Pretty straight forward down the middle is the shot. Just keep it straight. It you look around you will see big boulders. Glaciers moved them there years ago. Kinda cool to think about huh.
13. This one is a left to right breaking fairway and recommend a forehand, but do you boo. Next tee is off to the right going back up the mountain, look for sign posted on the trees.
14. Entering the wet lands. Keep an eye out for the Yosemite Toad. Blast a high S turn as far as you can, The hole plays further than it looks. Next tee is #17. Skip 15 & 16 because of the tall grass. Its thicker than molasses. Continue to the left kinda down the hill and look for #17.
17. Pretty straight forward hole. Plays longer than it looks. Blast one out, then do it again and hope for a putt. Next tee is up the hill and it’s a doosie. (Whatever a doosie is, lol)
18. I would recommend a position shot from the tee. Lay up there in the middle so you have a clean 2nd shot up the runway/fairway. It’s in the wet lands and its way up the hill. Tread safely and don’t step on any frogs. Next tee is up and around the corner. Keep walking up towards the snack shop and to the left down the mountain and look for #19.
19. Straight shot across the runway. I would recommend keeping your disc to the left. Next is to the left side of the tee
20. Next few holes are the endurance holes. Keep an eye on all shots. I’ve seen great forehand shots, try that.
21. Notice that helmet? Its been there in that spot for the last 8 years. Leave it alone. (Skip Original 22 and continue down the road to #23. There was a bear sighting yesterday so we’ll leave that hole alone.)
23 This is a long bending left to right fairway. I’d recommend staying in the middle of the run. Next tee, turn around and walk up and to the right in the trees.
24 This is a fun downhill shot. I prefer a putter of over stable mid. Next tee is down around the corner to the left.
25 Fun shot across ski run, look for the flag marking the basket. Next tee down and to the right.
26 Long hole across the ski run down in the back by the trees. It’s a long one to before the finishing hole. Next tee is back on the ski run.
27 What a round. Look down and keep you disc low. You DO NOT want to be in those trees to the left. Many a disc have been lost down there. Thanks for playing China Peak. Turn your score card in at the Inn / Bar and Grill.
