Hello and thank you for joining us for Mayhem, Powered by Baked A Cookie Company! I’d like to take a moment and thank our event sponsor. Your card assignment can be found at https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/52038 . If your hole assignment doesn’t show up, log out of the pdga website and back in. It should be to the left of our name. Your card is subject to change at the TD’s discretion. We can’t take requests, your card is your card. Please double check 15 minutes before tee off that your card hasn’t changed. It’s rare but happens.


Important Udates

Everyone is playing hole 2.5 from the short pad. We are also playing hole A. it only has 1 pad. Hole A is after hole 18 and before 1.

2.5 is after 2 and before 3.

Water stations will be by hole 2.5 and by hole 8/13 tomorrow is going to be incredibly warm. Please remember to grab water.

The AED is at Tournament Central on the check out stand. If no one is there and it’s an emergency DO NOT wait for someone. Grab it and run.


Our vend is still under construction. It’s functional and operating well but still a work in progress. Please excuse the construction mess. We can only have around 15 people at a time on the vend. For this reason we are starting payout as soon as the event is complete.



Bags are not allowed in our vend. You’ll notice security cameras at our setup. I don’t like having to run them. I’m sure you probably don’t like being on them. We have dealt with an extreme amount of theft and have to mitigate it. Please, don’t smoke in or near the vend either.

Layouts
Ma1 round 1 will play odds long even short. 2.5 will be from the short pad. Hole A only has one pad. Depending on how the grass looks after round one, round 2 pad position may change on hole A. You will play blue baskets on hole 2,6, 8, 12, and 13. There is NO OB on hole 13.

Ma1 round 2 will play odds short except hole 9, evens long. 2.5 will be from the short pad. Hole A only has one pad. You will play blue baskets on hole 2,6, 8, 12, and 13. There is NO OB on hole 13.


All other divisions will play all short pads to yellow baskets except hole 9 and 6. 6 will be slightly modified. Hole 9 is from the long pad all day for everyone.

Scoring

We will be using PDGA Live scoring as our official scoring for this event. You can access this by visiting www.pdga.com/score the event password is MAYHEM

In the rare event your card mate doesn’t show up and you only have 2 players on your card, one player will join the card in front of you, one will join the card behind you. The weather is going to be amazing. I doubt this will be an issue but be prepared just in case.

BEFORE you leave the course, verify your score with your card mates and sign off on it in the app. Every player on the card needs to verify score and sign off. Failure to do so will result in rule 808 F being enforced.

We will be utilizing a backup scorecard of Paper or Udisc. One player from each card needs to keep a backup. The paper score card should not be turned in unless in the very unlikely event of the pdga app crashing. Otherwise use it to confirm scores. If there’s a discrepancy work it out with your card. If you can’t come to an agreement, bring it to me with your entire card. less
