Tips for tournament day:
Bring a face covering and have it available and ready to use at all times!
- We must follow all UAF COVID-19 policies which includes wearing a face covering over your nose and mouth at any point during the day you cannot maintain 6ft of distance between others
- Face covering must be worn at all times indoors – we may use the restroom facilities in the SRC
UAF’s Smokefree and Tobacco-free Policy
- Please be aware of and follow UAF’s Smokefree and Tobacco-free Policies. The Blues Disc Golf Course is a UAF outdoor recreational area and therefore falls under the Smokefree policy:

Be prepared for all the weather:
- Bring extra disc golf towels (microfiber cleaning cloths work GREAT) to clean and dry discs. Keep extras dry in a zip lock bag during the round!
- Bring an extra pair (or seven) of socks and maybe even another pair of shoes so you’ll have happy feet round two
- Layers, layers, layers
- Umbrellas and rain gear are your friend. If you bring them and don’t need them all the better
- Hand warmers are great for chilly morning rounds
Bring plenty of snacks and water
- No one likes a hangry disc golfer. Bring some hearty snacks for during the round!
- Bring lunch to enjoy during our 1 hour lunch break or be ready to race to grab food down the hill
- Way to go H20! Don’t forget to bring plenty of water, even on chilly days hydration is key
