Welcome to the official player meeting for the 2022 May Flowers tournament sponsored by Great Lakes Disc. There will not be an in-person player meeting. Remember to use code CCR10 at check out on greatlakesdisc.com to save 10%!
- Check in will be open from 8am to 845am at the hilltop located near Hole 1’s long tee pad. At 845am sharp if you are not on site, the spot will move to the waitlist player(s), if any are present. If you are unsure if you are in the 50/50, please ask at check in. There is no ace pool for the event. Player packs will be 1 GLD Custom LE ESP FLX Zone. You can pick those up at check in.
- We will use the PDGA live scoring. The scoring code will be given at check in. We will play 2 rounds of 18 holes. The layouts are posted on DGS and in the PDGA Live Scoring. Please refer to the PDGA live scoring for all OBs and hole notes. If there is any discrepancy, default to the PDGA Live Scoring notes. If there is still a discrepancy on a ruling, play a provisional (play out the hole in both situations) and bring it to me at the end of the round. Please note that due to weather, OB lines may not be clear so please read the OB notes provided.
- We will have some CTPs graciously donated by Great Lakes Disc! Those holes will be listed at check in and set out during round 2. The 50/50 Hole will be Hole 15.
- There will not be any in person payouts. Payout codes will be emailed to you, at the email you registered with. Please note, "at the email you registered with." For Open players and the 50/50 winner, PayPal payments will also be sent to the email you registered with.
*** We will be following the PDGA guidelines if serious weather occurs. Safety is the absolute #1 concern for any of our tournaments:
“If, in the opinion of the Tournament Director, lightning, excessive rain or hazardous conditions exist that make it impractical or dangerous to continue play, the tournament shall be suspended. The signal to suspend play shall be made in the same fashion as the signal to start, but using three short blasts. These blasts should be repeated at least once within one minute and the Tournament Director should make any necessary efforts to ensure all groups can hear the signal.”
Sustained heavy rain or lightning will cause a stoppage of play. Please read PDGA Rule 1.07 Suspension of Play in case this circumstance arises. In the event that serious weather occurs for an extended period of time, it is possible that we may only be able to complete 1 round and have to conclude the tournament at that.
Any questions, reach out to me, Wes Shinevar. See you out there!
