LATE WITHDRAWAL / NO-SHOW

It is past the cutoff to request a refund. If you cannot make it and notify me at 785-764-2229 prior to your tee time, you will still receive your player pack. To cancel, text or call your name and division, with comment you are canceling to the tournament director Rob at 785-764-2229.

PARKING -
There should be enough room to park especially as we limited the field size to 72. Please be courteous and do not take up extra space.

RESTROOMS

There is a modern restroom at the course.


CHECK-IN

Check in with the Tournament Director 30 minutes before your tee time.

SCORING

We will be using the PDGA digital scoring system. (This is not Udisc). To access it, go to pdga.com/score. Enter in the password, then your last name or PDGA number, and the card will pull up. I will have paper scorecards as a backup. You can also use udisc as a backup. However, to submit the scores, it needs to be done through the PDGA scoring system.

If you haven’t used the PDGA scoring system, check in a little earlier and I’ll show you how to do it. It has a feel that is similar to udisc, but it’s a different system that exports scores directly to me and the PDGA site.

Hole lengths, pars, and OB rules are listed in the PDGA app while you are keeping score.

General Course Rules:

Tall Grass (and painted line) are only used as OB for Hole 14
Creek / Water is OB on Holes 6 & 9
Creek / Surrounded by Water applies to Hole 10.
'Surrounded by water' means if there is water all the way around your disc it is OB. If it is on a rock in the creek, and there is water all around that rock, you are 'surrounded by water' and are OB.

COURSE CONDITIONS / INCLEMENT WEATHER

At the time of this writing, the Tee Pads for Holes 4 and 15 are under construction. I expect them to be playable for Saturday. If they are not, I will have the appropriate tee pad for each. Hole 4 will be off to the side, Hole 15 will be in front of the teepad. You will now which we are doing before you tee off.

PLAYER PACKS

All amateur players will receive a tournament stamped Dynamic / Latitude 64 / Westside Disc. All recreational players will also receive a standard size bag of jerky from Kansas Jerky Co and a mini marker / can topper from GRIPeq.

Disc molds and color choices are on a first come, first serve basis. This list of available discs is for you to help do some research ahead of time to make the process faster.

WATER

There will not be water coolers out on the course. Please bring enough to last you for your round.

AWARDS / PAYOUTS

With the nature of tee times and divisions not ending all at once, we will not have a formal awards ceremony. Trophies will be given out as soon as the clear winner has been determined. If you are not present because you had an earlier tee time, you can pick them up at our Olathe store.

PRO PAYOUTS can be either a check mailed to you to save fees, or via PayPal Goods and Services (winner pays fees) based on what you chose during registration. We prefer to pay with a check.

AM PAYOUTS can either be redeemed via our webstore, maverickdiscgolf.com or in person at our physical store in Olathe, KS at 600 E. Santa Fe St. Ste C. Online codes will not cover shipping.

All payout vouchers for all Maverick DG vended tournaments in 2023 expire 12/31/2023.

There is no payout for MA3 and FA3, hence the additional items in your player pack.

TROPHIES

There is a First Place trophy for all divisions. MA3 will have First, Second and Third place trophies.

10 Long Gold, Creek is OB. When / where painted line is present, the line is the defining creek. Where the line is not present, 'surrounded by water' is the defining creek. Surrounded by water is defined as 'if there is water in-between your disc is the shore, it is 'surrounded by water'. It may be touching a rock in the creek, but if there is water around your disc before the shore line, it is 'surrounded by water'.
11 Left RED. This is the only Red basket we'll play when there is a Blue basket present. Creek surrounded by water is OB. Over creek is OB.
12 Long Blue Creek surrounded by water is OB. Over creek is OB.
13 Long Blue, No OB
14 Long Blue. Tall grass IS OB. The last 1/3 of the hole will have the tall grass actually painted as it becomes less defined the closer you get to the basket.
