About this tournament

Two rounds at Centennial part on a shotgun start. Approximately 1 hour lunch in between.

As always, Recreational and Junior divisions are 'True Amateur' meaning only player pack and trophy with no additional payout.

Pro divisions play for cash.

Rest of amateur divisions will have a player pack and additional merchandise payout.

The Centennial Chain Crash registration is unique due to it's time of year. We have had some years where it was 65 deg and gorgeous. We have had other years with 35 degrees and freezing rain. One year it was 50's on Saturday and we got a blizzard on Sunday.

I limit registration to 72 players. If the weather is bad, 4-somes / 72 players play noticeably faster than 5-somes / 90 players. If the weather is good, I expand it to 90.

The decision to expand is made on Thanksgiving day so that people know 2 days in advance. If it is expanded, the waitlist people get in first, which is why the waitlist is now up to 17 people. If we don't expand, you get a full refund - not including the handling fees of Paypal and dgscene.

Refund policy

Maverick Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. DGScene and PayPal fees are non-refundable. Refunds 7 days or more will receive full entry fee (not processing fees) refunded. Refund requests from 6 days before up until 6 pm Thursday 11/25 will receive refunds less a $5 handling fee. No refunds will be issued after 6 pm Thursday 11/25. No call, no show at event will forfeit player pack and refund. Late arrival after the player meeting has started could cause you to be scratched from the event. Waitlist policy: If you are on the wait list and don't get in, you'll get a full refund less the $1.34 paid to dgscene for their fees. When an opening becomes available, it is filled from the waitlist first. If you are on the waitlist, you can request a refund at any time and get a full refund less the $1.34. Once you are on the normal registration list, the above applies as long as it is before registration ends. When registration closes, and you are still on the waitlist, you can either show up to see if you get in, or not, it's up to you. Either way, if you don't get in, you'll receive a full refund, less the $1.34.
