Eric Bolton got a hole-in-one at Jackson Park hole 2. Air shot all the way. If he didn't hit the basket, that would have gone OB I'm sure. Congrats Eric! Eric chose the Innova Super Sport basket for his prize.
The other three prizes were awarded this morning in a Facebook live video witnessed by Ricky Webster. The three winners were Jordan Renzelman, Gary Johnston, and Justin Tils. Please come see Rob at TD central to pick up your bag.

Normally if we have more than one ace, those players that have the ace do a CTP to see who choses the prizes first. It occurred to me that we are not going to be able to do that because of split pools today and tee times tomorrow. So, if we have more than one ace, we will go by distance. Longest Ace chooses first, etc. Then whatever is left over from the four prizes we'll do a raffle of those that paid in to award the remaining items so everyone can pick up their items on Sunday.

In the video I reference a PDGA tutorial regarding the digital scoring. While the tutorial was written for tournament directors, if you have never used the PDGA digital scoring you will be able to get an idea on how to use it by watching it.

To use the digital scoring, go to pdga.com/score. I highly suggest typing in the whole address to get to the correct site. The Access Code all weekend will be Aviatrix.
Check In on Saturday is from 8:00 – 8:50 at the course you will start at. We tee off at exactly 9:00 AM. Your hole assignments can be found on the pdga event page:

COVID
Please be considerate of others regardless of how you feel about COVID-19. Give people around you space. Do not crowd the TD – Rob, or his Assistant – Damon. Don’t pick up other player’s equipment. Hand sanitizer will be available at TD central. PLEASE use it before going through the vending merchandise.

RESTROOMS
Both courses do have restrooms. Jackson Park restroom is located north of the playground towards the entrance. Warnock Lake has two restrooms. A ‘rustic’ restroom is across the street from Tournament Central. A more modern one is located near the RV park. Tee Box 10 is very close to it.
WATER
Both courses have water spigots in the park at various locations. We will try to keep water coolers stocked, but there may be times when they are empty. When you use the public water coolers, please use a towel, hand sanitizer, etc. Plan on bringing enough water for you each round.
PAYOUTS AND AWARDS
Awards and payouts will be done for each division as they finish on Sunday instead of one large award ceremony.
PROS – Paying the top 40-45%. Payment will be made by check or PayPal. Trophy for First place.
All Advanced Divisions – Trophy for First place. Merchandise vouchers for top 45%
Intermediate – Trophies for First and Second place. Merchandise vouchers for approximately top 10 finishers (roughly 30-35%)
Intermediate Women – Trophy for First, Payout for first.
Recreational Mixed – This division is a Trophy Only division. Trophies awarded for First, Second and Third place.
Rec Women – Trophy for First.
ACE FUND
If one or more hole-in-ones are hit on Saturday, those players will get their first choice of prizes. If there are prizes after Saturday, normally at the end of the tournament we do a CTP (closest to pin) contest to award them. Because Sunday is tee times, I will do a raffle for those that have paid into the fund to award the remaining prizes. This way you can pick up your prize before you leave on Sunday.
There are four prizes available for the Ace Fund. An Innova Super Sport, and three Innova Super Hero bags. Retail value of these prizes is over $600, approximately 130% of what was paid into the fund. The money is used to cover many of the tournament expenses. Thank you for helping to offset tournament costs.

For safety reasons, we skip hole 4, hole 5 is extended, and we insert 7b to make up for the lost hole 4.

ALL ROADS ON AND BEYOND ARE OB UNLESS NOTED BELOW.
If you miss a mando, proceed to drop zone with a one stroke penalty. (In case the DZ was not painted, or has worn/washed away, it should be directly to the ‘safe’ side of said mando)
All pins are ‘Only’ (only one pin location) unless noted in (). Distances should be considered estimates.

Maverick Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. DGScene and PayPal fees are non-refundable. Refunds 7 days or more will receive full entry fee (not processing fees) refunded. Refund requests from 6 days before up until registration closes (6pm Thursday) will receive refunds less a $5 handling fee. No refunds will be issued after registration closes. No call, no show, will forfeit player pack and refund.

To assist in social distancing, amateurs will be picking out their player packs online when they register. The earlier you register, the more choices you will have. One of those choices is a Maverick DG windbreak (a lightweight jacket). The cut-off to get the jacket is Monday, August 31. If you register after 8/31, there will be a substitute item, but the jacket is guaranteed to be a higher value.

All players, pro and am, will receive an Innova towel, courtesy of Innova.

Fund raiser discs are also available during the tournament registration process. Pros, if you wish to purchase a Maverick DG windbreaker, you are able to do so in the registration process.

If Sunday is a shotgun round, it will be a normal post-tournament award ceremony. There will be additional payouts for amateurs via Maverick DG inventory. Pro payouts will be done by Paypal or check (by mail if preferred) after the tournament. Recreational and Junior divisions are player pack and trophy only with no additional payout.

If no ace is hit on Saturday, and Sunday round is on tee times, then those that paid into the fund will be thrown into a hat and winners drawn. If no ace is hit on Saturday, and Sunday's round is a shotgun start, then we will also include Sunday's round for possible hole-in-one. If no ace is still hit, then we will have the normal 'Maverick Rules' CTP throw off for the prizes after the round.
