About this tournament
1 round of play
START DATE - Monday the 11th
The first round allows for TWO weeks to be completed, one week thereafter.
Both players must agree upon a time and course.
Players are encouraged to link up with another match but it is not required.
This is Match Play Format
Match Play Basics: Match play is a head-to-head competition, where players compete hole by hole.
Winning a Hole: A player wins a hole by completing it in fewer throws than their opponent.
Pushed Holes: If both players complete a hole with the same number of throws, the hole is pushed (a tie). No one is awarded a point for the hole.
Scoring: Scoring in match play is tracked by how many holes a player is "up" or "down". For example, if Player A has won 3 more holes than Player B, Player A is "3-up" and Player B is "3-down".
Match Conclusion: A match can be concluded when one player has won more holes than there are remaining holes to play. For instance, if Player A is 3-up with only 2 holes left, Player A has won the match 3 & 2
