I am encouraging everyone to review the information on the far right side of the About page for this tournament. The rules that will be enforced are laid out clearly for your review. Please take a look. Thanks in advance - Ben

Anyone know what the sparkle raiders where plastic wise? I have a pink one bottom stamped. It’s sparkly and domey.
Thanks!

These are Lucid X Chameleon, I believe. Tyler Searle ordered these for the C-tier flex starts during Mega Bowl weekend.

Left 2 disc I bought.
White Diamond and a bright green putt approach
Which course? Brand new? Check with Ben, Larry or Tyler Searle when you check in for your tee time tomorrow.

For scoring, is there a preferred scoring app like UDisc, that we will use?
Pdga.com/score will be used. There is a link in the app that will take you to the scorecard. The access code is in the caddy book that was emailed to every player and we will discuss all of this at hole 1 before you tee off.

The app says the player's meeting is on the youtube page... what's the name of the youtube channel or the link to the video? It wasn't given on the app.
Found it for those looking.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLhhwBXN8JU
YouTube.... Search for "magic city Mega bowl 2020". Bada Bing Bada boom
There is also a link to our YouTube page in the app. Glad you were able to find it.

Are tee times for each division going to be around the same time each day? So if my division tees off between 7:30 and 9:54am on Friday, should we expect a similar time block on Saturday?
Yes, you should be in the same general time frame for that division each day.

Amateur players will pick up their player packs at a designated area on the first day of tournament play
Will this be at our course on Friday,. or some other location?
Or if you are registered for the flex start at Gardendale on Thursday, I will bring your player pack there.
Thank you for bringing them out for tomorrow's event...it is appreciated!

Not sure if anyone is having this issue, but the app keeps crashing every time I open it. My platform is Android.
I did, however i spoke with someone who helped me get it running properly. He told me to go to settings, then go to Magic City Mega Bowl, then go to storage, then click on clear cache, and I also cleared data on mine, and everything has worked properly since then.. Please get another opinion, but that did the job for me...
Great info, thanks for sharing Terry, that fixed mine as well. One additional step I had to do for mine (Pixel 2.) After going to Storage and then finding the MCMB app, I had two options, "Clear Cache" and "Clear Storage." I had to do both to get mine working. And to clarify this just clears the cache and storage for the MCMB app, not the entire phone.

When will we know what Pool we will be playing in on the Intermediate Division?
@Jonathan - If you check out the Registered Players tab look top/right side of the page, Pool Assignments are listed there. Answers above are correct, Intermediate (MA2) is in the A Pool.

Are spectators allowed at this event? Abiding by CBC's guidelines by wearing masks and social distancing of course.
Spectators will be allowed with distancing. We will ask anyone who is not a player on the active card, to stay back from the tee area on each hole.

Any info on rv camping in the area?
I went to GOOGLE.COM and searched for RV CAMPGROUNDS BIRMINGHAM AL and saw several on a map with reviews. Try that, it might get help you find one centrally located between the courses.
Last year we stayed at Birmingham South campground in Pelham. It wasn't a far drive to any of the courses and the grounds were very clean as were the facilities.

will there be any C tier flex starts during the mega bowl?
How do the flex starts work? Do we register separately for those tournaments?
@Robbie - They are separate events. One of them is already out there ready for registration. We will also have registration links setup through the schedule in the mobile app.

Any recommendations on a nice campground that would be centrally located for this tournament?
CJ, the only campground I know of for sure in our area is Oak Mountain but it is definitely not centrally located. I will try and find some info and share it here and on the FB Event page when I have it.
CJ, I’ll have the camper at Oak Mtn. Hope to see you and Mark there!!!
Course Layouts are now available in the Pictures tab above. Baskets will be moved as soon as possible. As a reminder, the PDGA only requires the course to be set up in tournament position for one day before a B-tier. We will beat that by a lot. Patience is appreciated.
For those that have been asking about Flex Start C-tiers. Tyler has all of them up and ready for registration. You can access them via DG Scene or find the event on the schedule in the app and register there.
Tee times are posted on the PDGA event page - https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/43946
