I’m afraid that I have to share some sad news. I recently surveyed the damage to Maggie from the hurricane along with the park maintenance supervisor. I followed that up with a meeting with the park General Manager. The result being that the realization has been made that the course will not be ready for the December 9-10 weekend. Maggie’s Birthday Party 2023, unfortunately has now been canceled.


Due to the extreme, unexpected nature of the hurricane I have sought and received permission from the PDGA Director of Event Support, Andrew Sweeton to ship player’s packs to all amateur players ($30 value) and couple that with a $45 refund through discgolfscene. I will be paying all shipping fees.

ACTION NEEDED: All amateur players are asked to email their preferred shipping address to: [email redacted]


All pro players will receive a $75 refund through discgolfscene.


All refunds will begin to be processed next Wednesday (November 6).


I am saddened by this turn of events and regret to disappoint. Trust that Maggie has not been catastrophically damaged and will recover eventually.

All players: the tournament park fees will be $30. Each of you will be responsible for checking in at the park office to pay before your tee time. The office will give you a wrist band. You will not be able to tee off without a wristband.

Players may primitive camp on Friday and Saturday nights without an additional charge.

Any non-players that are driving into the park with you will be required to pay the daily park fee or standard fees for overnight stays as any other person entering the park would. Please contact the park directly with any questions/ clarifications regarding this post.
