MVP Space Race at Batesville Presented by Dead Straight Disc Golf

About this tournament
The MVP Space Race is back! The Space Race is designed to be a nighttime ace race event featuring a two disc player pack from the industry leader in glow technology.
This tournament will be a 1 round, 18 hole GLOW tournament using ONLY the 2 glow in the dark discs received as the players pack (Streamline Eclipse Range putter/approach, Axiom Total Eclipse Crave Fairway Driver). This will be a shotgun start at around sunset (planning for approximately 6:00 PM) at your assigned hole at Liberty Park. We will be playing through the 9 holes at Liberty Park twice, with some alternate tee locations for certain holes.
We will also be including UV flashlights in the players packs for everyone!
This tournament will be an ace race format meaning scoring will not be based on strokes, but on points. Each player will take two shots off of the tee at each hole (one with each disc) and score points for aces/hole-in-ones (worth 5 points each), chain hits (worth 3 points each), and other basket/pole metal hits (worth 1 points each). The most cumulative points after 18 holes wins!
This tournament is not PDGA sanctioned and is open to all! This would be a great tournament for beginners or casual players looking to try out some cool new discs and/or glow disc golf! Groups/cards can be made based on requests, so please comment any requests during online registration.
Winners will receive a prize pack consisting of MVP lab seconds disc/s!
Registering for PPO (Players pack only) will not include entry to the tournament, but you will be able to receive the players pack discs. These will be available for pick up during the tournament or after. Please arrange a pick up time if you cannot make the tournament date.
24 or more players must be registered by November 15, 2024 or the tournament may be cancelled.
