I would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to:
Chris Leo, Brady Diller, Damon Evans, Bob Turner, Kevin Egnatoski, Samantha Gilbert, Brandon Dub, Ray Sherwood, Aeden Sherwood, Liz Cathers, and Mike Henry. I would like to also thank Discraft for allowing us to pick up our players packages the night before and for being so flexible with us over the years.

** My disclaimer for all of the included information above and below - My apologies to anyone I may have missed. There was a lot of activity around tournament headquarters and my head was going in a couple different directions. I got to the park at 9:30 am and got home around 4:45 pm.

So, lets get to the winners:

The 1st Ace of the day: Titanium Buzzz donated by John Minicuci won by Pat Witmer
I also donated a disc to the person whose guess came the closest to how many total Aces we had this year. We needed more than 1 disc and thanks to the Jorrey’s we had enough. Jeff Hollinger, Bryan Watts and Erich Rose all won discs by guessing 27 Aces.
Last Ace of the day donated by the Motor City Chain Gang, a Z Undertaker, was won by Lori Mullen
Most metals w/out an Ace was won by Joe Levell, David Banniger, and Brendon. Each of the 3 won a disc donated by Joe Levell and the Jorrey’s.
2nd place was donated by Discraft and the winner of this was Ben Jackson with 2 Aces and 2 metals. I think it was an ESP Flx Surge SS.
First non-Ace Metal hit donated by Samantha Gilbert and Brandon Dub were 2 Double Tap Mini-Wizards and they were won by Mike Henry and Sarah Bruha
Basket 7 Disc-hit won by Brandon Dub was a 6 Beer Sampler donated by Sherwood Brewery
Youngest Ace prize was a Champ Mako 3 donated by the Jorrey family was won by Mark Wallath
Oldest Ace prize was a Z Crank SS donated by Alec Kennedy was won by Mike Smith
1st Woman Ace won a G Star Beast donated by the Jorrey family was won by Lori Mullen
The Newest PDGA # Ace won a Star Wombat was won by Theresa Benesh (96123)
The Oldest PDGA # Ace won a Latitude package donated by the Steinbrechers was won by Mike Henry (28056)
The Youngest Metal Hit mini-Wizard donated by Mike Henry was won by Brayden Michelak.

We held a raffle raising $270 for the Detroit Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
Winning the Dino Ciccarelli autographed disc was Jim Stack.
Winning the Ted Lindsay autographed disc was Bob Turner.

Winning with 2 Aces thrown by her new Ace throwing style and 2 metal hits in a 1 throw playoff to the island - including the Discraft bag, the 2017 Ace Race SuperColor Buzzz, a full bag of discs, and the Super Event Chainstar, your 2017 MCCG Discraft Ace Race winner - Lori Mullen.

The 1st Ace of the Day and the person who guesses the most total Aces (metals excluded) will win a prize donated by myself.
The last Ace of the day will win a prize donated by the Motor City Chain Gang.
Discraft will be donating something for 2nd place.
We will also have the famous basket 7 Disc Hit prize - TBD.
Other prizes will be based off of donations and they can choose what their prize will be donated for like 1st Woman Ace or Most metals with no Aces, etc ...
