For the couple of players who registered the last 2 days and didn't receive the players email:
Ladies,
Let me start by saying how much I appreciate you all signing up to play this tournament. The tournament staff is looking forward to providing you an incredible tournament experience.
I want to thank all of our sponsors, MVP Disc Sports, Flying Ace Distillery, NVWDGC, WATS DGC, Rob Stark, and the numerous hole sponsors. Thank you so much for supporting this tournament, and the Birdies and Blossoms series.
Here is a quick overview of the morning schedule. Check-in will begin at 9am, where all players can pick up their player pack items. Yes, all pro players will get a tournament-stamped disc! We ask that all players arrive and check in before 9:30. The series directors want to gather all the players together to get a photo before all the players scatter to their respective starting holes, which we hope to have happen no later than 9:45.
We will not have a traditional in-person players meeting. This email, and the attached caddy book will act as that.
We will be using Live Scoring. The code is: LLO26. There will be paper scorecards available upon request, and reluctantly handed out.
Lunch will be provided for all players between the rounds, thanks to NOVA Women.
All divisions will receive a Winner's trophy, a 21oz beer glass, which each winner is encouraged to take to the tasting room and enjoy a celebratory beverage of choice courtesy of Flying Ace Distillery.
I will be out at the course this thursday and friday, marking and putting the final touches on the course, getting it tournament-ready. Players are welcome to come out for practice rounds those two days. I have attached the caddy book to the email. I have tried to be as consistent as humanly possible between the caddy book and the notes in the Live Scoring app. In the event that there is a difference, THE LIVE SCORING APP CONTROLS! I want to make sure all players understand this, as I have seen this creep up a couple of times in recent tournaments, and it caused some penalty strokes because the caddy book was followed instead of the Live Scoring rules. This led to some unhappy players, but there was nothing that could be done. As I said, I have checked, double checked, and triple checked, but I am human.
For our FJ08 player, her chapperone, and cardmates, I will be creating seperate tee pads on each hole with unique marking flags (don't know the color yet). Each hole will be roughly 100' in length. Please see me before Round 1 starts for final instruction and notes.
I'm sure there is more that I am forgetting. If you have any questions, you are more than welcome to email or text me. I am looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday!

Hunting birdies is more fun than avoiding bogeys.
