Players, I hate to do it, but we are going to have to cancel this year's event. Unfortunately, the coronavirus lock-downs have had severe impacts on our local economy, and that's going to directly impact our tournament. Given that our event is a non-profit, it's only possible to run through our local partner's generous donations and sponsorships. Right now our partners are simply trying to stay open, so it's not realistic to expect them to focus on maximizing their charitable donations by supporting our event. I think the best plan is to pack everything up this year, and focus on bringing the event back bigger and better in 2021.

For some good news, thanks to the success of last year's event the City of Rincon has purchased 18 disc golf baskets! We were going to debut these new targets at Lost Plantation, but now we're looking at a new urban-style event this fall. Keep an eye out on discgolfscene for more info on this in the next few months!

Thank you to everyone who supported the event this year! Refunds will be issued today.
