Hey gang!
Thank you for signing up and coming down to play Otter Brooks on Sunday. Weather looks great, course is playing great and it looks like we have a great group of players coming.
So a couple of things for Sunday.
1) If you have not been to Otter Brook before...Located out side of Keene on Rte 9 East (2.8 miles past the Washington St Exit). If coming from the east (Concord) on Rte 9 it is 2.7 miles past The Sullivan Country Store (awesome cookies).
GPS Coordinates +42.968250,-72.227833
Note that if you are coming in from the Rt 101 side that GPS may try to take you down the back way. Resist the urge and take Rt 101 all the way to Rt 9 and go that way. Best case, short cut will take crappy back roads through the pucker brush, worst case you run into bars & gates and have to turn around. Either way you won't save time. Just stay on the highway. On Rt 101 you may see a tempting sign for Otter Brook Dam. Again resist the urge, you will end up at the Dam and there are NO baskets at the dam.
2) Bring your lunch! You will not have time to drive to Keene and back for food. We will have waters and a bunch of chocolates though.
3) Tourney central will be in the park. The gate will be closed but without a lock. PLEASE CLOSE GATE after you have gone through. Army Corp is doing us a favor by using park off season and the one thing they ask is to keep the gate closed!
4) We are going to be trying out the new PDGA live scoring. This is a test run for us so we will be using paper scorecards also as a back up. This will minimize scoring errors and enable us to be much faster at getting scores posted and players back out on the course.

5) Breaking Chains will be on hand with discs, so bring funny money if you have some.
