Hey gang! We’re all geared up for the weekend! Be sure to come to Mulligans at Marion’s country club tomorrow night between 6-9 pm and enjoy a beverage and some good food while putting in the flex start putting competition. We have some great prizes and with unlimited entries allowed at $5 per entry, $4 of each entry goes to payout and we’re paying out 1st 2nd and 3rd places!

The park board has assured me that the bathroom house in the center of the baseball fields will be open and fully stocked. There are also Porta Potties located beside hole #9 tee-pad and #12 and #13 baskets.

Any leads for an out of towner on some affordable lodging for this? A legal spot to park and sleep in my car is all I really need, any more is a bonus.

The Lion's Club Property across the street from the course is open and available for primitive camping or sleeping in your car free of charge. Any campfires must be off the ground but no other restrictions. There is a bathroom facility at the center of the park as well. If you require actual lo ... more

Got quite a bit of rain yesterday but it didn't seem to really affect the course, just a little bit of water in the creeks that have been dry recently. Hole #4 fairway was soggy yesterday in places but no standing water. Tournament Mando signs up, Lake Drop Zone signs up and front side OB lines ... more

Planning on a socially distanced CTP throw off like we did at Veterans for Vets unless I get told no by the Health Department. If Health Dept says no go for some reason, it'll be a cash CTP for one of the 2nd round holes.

Rodney Travis    August 27, 2020 at 4:02pm

Some info: The course has two sets of stairs that make it not very cart friendly, the rest of the course is however. On site primitive camping is available and you can contact me for information. We will be playing the original course layout both rounds with the only exception being hole 7, which will play the A position one round and the B position the other. If there is no Ace made, a decision on whether or not to have a throw off will be made prior to the start of the event based on current C ... more

CTP during one of the rounds for half the pot of no aces are hit? If Throw off isn’t an option. Hole 6 maybe? Just tossing out idea Looking forward to playing this event

Maybe, we aren't taking anything off the table yet. We fully expect guidelines to lessen by the tournament date and everything I've put in place as precautionary (to avoid hurt feelings) won't matter. If we were to do that, it'd most likely be Hole 5, 6, or 16 because 10 and 14 are already cash CTP's. Look forward to having you down. Thanks for the suggestion!
