We got a lot of water at JD today. It's supposed to be nice tomorrow for the LLC but there will be some standing water. Consider bringing appropriate footwear. Check in is from 8:15 to 9:15. Pick up your players pack at check in. If I'm ready early I'll open up shop then. Due to standing water on the right side of hole 8, we will not be playing the alternate tee and hazard. It will be from the concrete and a par 4.

I have some bullet points for the Lewiston Ladies Championship participants this Sunday.

1. Lunch will not be provided. Please bring your own, or the village of Lewiston is about a 6 minute drive.

2. The rear entrance to the park is no longer in use. For most people this will add about 4 minutes to the drive (for those of you arriving last minute) around river road to the front entrance.

3. Thanks to everyone giving notice who couldn't make it. Day of withdraws are not preferable. If anyone else knows they won't make it please let me know ASAP.

4. There will be some snacks and I have about 300 bottles of water. Coolers will be on the course in a couple key places. I'm guessing there will be a lot of water left over. We'll see. Please feel free to take it with you after the event.

5. Registration closes tonight at 8 pm.

Hello Justin, this looks like it's going to be an amazing event and I can't wait to play. Wondering if you plan to have some paper scorecards available? The FA40 division is entirely Canadian as of now, and while I'll be happy to use data to enter scores in to the PDGA app ASAP after the round, I don't want to run my data for three hours. Presuming that will be the case for all of us...

One week until the LLC! Registration closes Friday at 8pm. Please check the event schedule on the discgolfscene "about" page. Check in is mandatory, as is the players meeting. Players packs (all players) will be given out at check in. Layout specifics will be reviewed at the players meeting but please feel free to ask any questions now.

I will be putting coolers with water on the course in places where players should be able to grab water often enough to lighten up on carrying beverages if they choose. Water will be at the intersection of hole 8's basket and 18's tee (also near 6's tee), and the intersection at hole 2's tee and hole 24's tee. I'll be doing my best to make sure they don't run out throughout the rounds.

Hole sponsor spots are still available but I can't promise I'll make signs for any further sponsors at this point as I have a busy week.

There will be player's packs for all participants, including pro players. The player's packs will be online gift certificates for otbdiscs.com. Am players will receive a $30 gift certificate and pro players will get a $20 gift certificate. Given the massive Canadian contingent, I will be doing on site player's packs for the Canadian participants due to the excessive shipping costs to Canada from OTB. Shipping costs for 2 discs would run about $20 to Canada so it just doesn't work for them. I'd love to have been able to let them choose exactly what they want like the rest of the field but the shipping costs precluded it from being a viable option.

As a reminder in case people haven't read the event details...this is a pro B tier. So while there is a minimum added cash of $750, please keep in mind the entry fees were only $15 so total payout will reflect the lower entry fees. This is also an am player's pack and trophy only event. Trophies will be given for 1st place in every division.

I've made some more adjustments to the division caps. These will stay as is for now and be re-evaluated on June 25th and once more on July 16th. I'd like to leave the room for pros for now since it is a B tier for them but I'm sure more spots will be moved from there on those two dates. I'm blown away by the 56 players currently signed up. Who knows if any more will sign up but if by chance your division gets full before those dates, do sign up for the wait list as you will almost certainly get in.

The FA3 division has been added. Anyone who would like to switch divisions should let me know here and I'll get you moved. As a reminder, FA4 will play significantly shorter tees. I haven't decided if FA3 will be playing from the concrete with the rest of the divisions or if they'll play the shorter tees with FA4 but I'm leaning to shorter for FA3. Feel free to leave any opinions on that here as well.
