Welcome ladies to the first Laughing Ladies tournament sponsored by Throw Pink!

I have moved check-in time up a bit to give room for players to do some warm-up putting and assess the weather so everyone can gather what they need.

I have moved check-in time up a bit to give room for players to do some warm-up putting and assess the weather so everyone can gather what they need.

Here are card assignments, and course and event information today so please take a look so I can answer questions at check-in! This event is designed to connect and grow women in disc golf. Wherever you are in your journey, please use this time to teach, learn and support every woman.

Also a huge thanks to the Willamette Disc Golf Club for playing their club round at a different course so that we have the space for this event.

Course Info
-Play to the short on 1
-Play from the short tee on 2
-18 plays as a par 4
-The Tees spell out the pylons are OB, ALL orange flags are in their place. Remember, the benefit ALWAYS goes to the player and a disc must be 100% surrounded by OB for it to be considered OB.

-There are no 1st, 2nd or 3rd place awards but please keep score so new players can get a feel for the whole game!

-There will be a CTP on the shortest hole, and longest putt award as well.

-We will have DOT awards for most and least DOTS. What are DOTS? One person per card will keep score for how many times anyone on their card hits the basket (anywhere) with a disc but does not go in.

-Every player will receive a raffle ticket for a drawing after the round. Prizes are various discs and swag donated by your TD's and Throw Pink.

-Please meet at the shelter after your round for the fun! There is another surprise award at the end, and for fun we will be celebrating a birthday with cupcakes!

The Willamette Disc Golf has generously moved their bag tag round to another course so that we do not have to fight for space during check in. However the course is not closed for the event so there will be other people out there while we play.
This event is intended to grow the women's field, connect resources, offer support and guidance and of course HAVE FUN!!
I plan to set up cards with a mix of skill levels so we can meet all of those goals and move steadily through the course. If you have a family member or someone you really do not want to be separated from, please let me know in advance.
Seasoned players, please expect to be carded with at least one new player. New players, please expect to be carded with one seasoned player!
The schedule listed in the event is the basic schedule with room for movement as needed. We should be prepared for rain so bring extra towels, an umbrella and some dry clothes for after the round. There is a picnic shelter we will use for the post event giveaways and raffle drawing!
Yes you can have a husband, boyfriend or supporter caddy for you if you like. Women only to play but supporters are welcome!
Madison has offered to give tips and answer some questions so if you have anything you would like her to talk about or demonstrate, feel free to email them here so I can give her an idea of what kinds of questions there are.
I cannot wait to meet each one of you and have a fun ladies day of disc golf and friendship!

The tournament says woman only, are husbands allowed to caddy?
